Default JDownloader deletes my unfinished downloads

Hi Guys

Lately (after an update) JDownloader times out (hotfile premium) on some downloads (network congestion or whatever), it disables the download in the list and logs an error, this is normal behavior, and then deletes the partial download and removes it from the list!

Is this new? How am I supposed to resume and finish the download?

Regards

I never saw this but I'm a free loader.

Did you set any options for deleting files automagically?

Hi Remi

It's set to only remove finished downloads on startup - that doesn't explain why it gets deleted after the download time-out.

JDUNrar deletes are successful extraction. This does not explain either why an half finished download gets deleted and removed from the list.

Maybe a new bug?

Try to reproduce the behaviour and upload a complete and detailed log.

Default Jdownloader fails and deletes inclomplete download

Hi there

I set the logging to detailed (it's unf. not debug quality).

It was downloading Devil.2010.BrRip.Xvid-Noir.avi (fileserve) for to about 10%, then failed (tagged to fail as USER ABORTED) which is not correct, and then the half-downloaded file simply got removed from the download list!

This was what was logged (see attached):

Hope there's a way to keep this from happening.
Thanks again.

1.) provide the complete logfile (the url)
2.) what gets removed? the link from downloadlist, the file from disk? screenshots?

Hi Jiaz

Thanks for answering.

The complete URL should be logged in my view: here you go **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**

A directory gets added and the download starts. It deletes the partial download and removes the file after what seems like consecutive download time-out failures (ISP shaping nightmare).

Regards

Please reduce the number of chunks (Max.Con. in bottom right corner of jD window) to 1 and Reset the link/file. Report back if it happens again with this setting.

Unfortunately, because you only provide a small piece of your log, I can't say more.
