I started having the same problem this morning. It reconnects constantly for MU links but other links like Fileserves are working fine.

Same here mate, i keep getting "Waiting for new IP" even tho im a premium megaupload user.

EDIT: nvm i have searched the forum and have found out that MEGAUPLOAD has changed their plugin so Premium accounts are being recognized as "Free accounts".

I guess we will just have to wait.

Wow, I registered to say I have that exact same problem. And here I thought I was the only 1. It seems like manually downloading the file works just fine and I've reset my IP many times and it still says waiting for new IP without even checking the site.

As title jdownloader doesn't recognise my megupload premium account, it says that its a free membership account but it isn't ....

The same started happening today for my Megaupload account. Tried to delete the account, restart JD and add the account again.

I logged to Megaupload site with my account and shows my premium info.

My premium accounts for hotfile and rapidshare are working great, but I cannot get my megaupload premium account to work with jdownloader. Any megaupload files act as though I have a free account with the 25 minute wait and multiple IP addresses.

On the plugins & Addons-Hosts-Premium, it shows the megaupload.com account status as "Account is ok" and the account is not expired. I have deleted and reset my account information twice with reboots.

I have verified that I have all jdownloader updates, and have verified that global premium accounts is turned on.

Same problem here. My megaupload premium account shows and acts like a free account and I get the "Waiting for new IP" message. Looks like they broke something :(

I noticed today that I went to use jdownloader to finish downloading some files that I was in the middle of...I never had had a problem like this before even with a free account....I always used to be able to resume where I left off with a free account...Today, I noticed that the megaupload site doesnt show a captcha code anymore...I also know that jdownloader relys on captcha from megaupload...I have tried at least 200 different links to megaupload with the same result that the captcha technology is extinct from megaupload...Is there some kind of way to get jdownloader to not use a captcha on megaupload?

Since i don't want to install Eclipse, and it appears that Netbeans got some issues to compile the JD sources, i wanted to change the real megaupload plugin but can't. (If someone can compile JD, i can give the new megauploadcom.java file).

So, i edited the compiled .class file using hexadecimal editor (...) to change the regex checking on the account type. And that's working for now (for those who really want to dl now, like me =) )

There is the new megauploadcom.class file :

To install it :
Close JD.
Go to JD directory, then go to plugins/hoster.
Rename Megauploadcom.class to whatever (to save it)
Paste the file I uploaded, and rename it Megauploadcom.class
Launch JD.

Warning : Because of JD checking at launch, if you fully close JD and re-launch it, the old Megauploadcom.class file will be back. So you'll have to put mine instead everytime you launch it.

Nightly cannot connect and download any file from my Megaupload premium account.

I get in the status line the message "Host wait time" but never connects.

Need to add that I haven't the same issue when I use Cryptload.

Any ideas?

I repost this thread because the previous one I've posted for an unknown to me reason is closed without any acceptable response to solve the issue.

to get fixed plugin, restart jdownloader 2 times = twice!!

I've restarted more than twice and every time I check for updates none are found. Is there a way I can manually install the new plugin?

Had the same problem and had to actually restart my computer before the problem was fixed for me. Everything is working now.

Tried this too and still cannot update.

if you restarted twice (the program twice not rebooted the computer twice) don't wait to SEE update available. Press START/ALT+P on your link. Mine updated so quickly I didn't even see the message at the bottom. So when I tried to update it said no updates available because, it already updated.

I turned on my pc today and for some odd reason Jdownloader is telling me that my account if Free membership but when i get on megaupload it says my account has 70 days left. I just bought 3 months last week any ideas what the problem is
