Startup Error
I received a startup error like this one:
https://board.jdownloader.org/showpo...87&postcount=1 I updated Java and reinstalled JD2. It starts up fine now BUT it collected configuration data from JD1 which I haven't used for months instead of the old JD2. So all links etc. are wrong. I see that the old JD2 install is still intact with all its autoarchive files. I now have two JD2 installations in %user%/appdata/local: one in folder JDownloader 2.0 and one in folder JDownloader v2.0. So what is best way to sort this out and get my link lists back. |

download
installer.jdownloader.org/JDownloader.jar and put it in your JD folder then remove Core.jar in that Folder Next time you start JDownloader it will fix itself. That way you can make your old JD installation work again. Then simply uninstall the new one.

OK. JD2 is working with correct configuration and lists now.
A question re: uninstalling the new one. Use Uninstall JDownloader.exe that is in the new JD folder or simply delete the new JD folder? I am worried that the first option will mess up the working JD2 and that the second option will leave junk behind in the registry. |

you can simply delete the folder. In case you can also create backup of your jd folder or at minimum of the complete cfg folder
