JD2 crashed on large archive extraction
Log posted:
25.11.15 16.02.02to25.11.15 15.30.17 jdlog://6236344739341/ Jave runtime error message is in text files attached (had to upload in two parts). The RAR archive totaled about 20GB; extraction crashed less than halfway through as I recall. JD2 locked up and had to be killed via Task Manager. I then unpacked the RAR manually in WinRAR v5.5 with no problem, though it took an unusually long time - so I wonder if this archive used very high compression. Unfortunately I deleted if after unpacking so it's gone (though I have the download link). JD2 went on to extract other similar packages without issues. Aynthing special you did? Like restarting JDownloader?
Does this happen often? Did it extract fine after restart?

This is a rare occurrence. It's been at least 6 months since I had such an extraction problem. I didn't do anything special this time, AFAIK. I had not recently (for at least 5 hours) restarted JD2 before the event.
I unpacked the file manually after JD2 failed, and deleted the links since they were "OK". I did not retry it in JD2. I realize that if the Java report and my logs don't help you fix it, there isn't much you can do. But I wanted to report it at least as a data point. |

When it happens again, please check if it works when you retry in JDownloader.
And then contact us via support@jdownloader.org and send us those crash reports again. In case it crashes again in JDownloader, we would also need the links to the archive so we can check/maybe fix it
