Default Remove pending update

Hi, is it possible to remove pending update files? I mean - I ´ve already set "ask before DOWNLOADING update" and thus I want remove pending update.

I want to be notified in case when updates are ready for download. But I forgot to alter the setting prior the update was downloaded...

@@heavydownloader: you can find the download/pending for installation packages in tmp/update directory. you can remove those not yet installed updates as JDownloader
see https://support.jdownloader.org/Know...olders-cleanup

Which one? There´re multiple files - I want to remove only the latest downloaded update.

@heavydownloader: the downloaded but not yet installed updates are the tmp/update/packages_* files.
packages_*.awf = update package ( contains the update data )
packages_*.awf.id = update response meta information ( contains the cached server response to the update request )
packages_*.awf.info = update package meta information ( contains meta information about the update data )

You can sort the files to creation date or the numbers (which is a timestamp in ms, see epochconverter.com )

You asked for

and then simply delete all of the packages_* files

@heavydownloader: you're welcome. the tmp/update/self folder is part of the update process. You may delete that folder as well as it will be created automatically on next update installation

@heavydownloader: can you show screenshot of the content of the tmp/update folder?
Did you restart JDownloader? are there still any packages_ files left over or new created?

@heavydownloader: also delete tmp/update/self
the dialog is triggered because of the pending self (JDownloader.jar) update. sorry, didn't have this situation while trying to reproduce the situation and providing the details/howto to remove the pending update
