Default imagefap.com JD2-Downloads won't start

I have several links for ImageFap as well as other hosters. When I start the downloads nothing happens. Even if I select all the links and Force Download Start. Occasionally JD2 will download a few images then stop. Then start later, whenever for some odd reason. I've only managed to download just a few images over the last 24 hrs. On the ImageFap links the Status shows as Running with ETA=Infinity Sign and it is definitely not downloading anything.

1. Your log contains a lot of different downloads.
Please provide a fresh log which contains a session of only imagefap.com downloads.
2. Please provide a list of example URLs which can be used to reproduce the problem.

Thank you for your quick response:

1. Here's a fresh log only containing ImageFap links:
21.02.24 17.35.28 <--> 21.02.24 17.36.47 jdlog://8601411370661/

2 Here are the image galleries I am trying to download:

1. I can't find any exceptions in your log.
It is possible that the images you are trying to download are hosted on very slow CDN servers.
You should be able to check this in your browser.

2. That is not a gallery but an overview of all galleries of a user(?)
It would be better to have a link to one gallery with e.g. 100 items.
A link to a single gallery looks like this: imagefap.com/gallery/1234567
The ~100 image items I just tested all worked fine.

Thank you.

Try this single link for one gallery:
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**

Also are you getting multiple simultaneous downloads? I only get a single download stream from ImageFap. Do you know if JD2 gets multiple streams from ImageFap?

So I realize my issue got sidetracked by me focusing on ImageFap.

My problem right now is that I cannot start any downloads.

For example, I am trying to download a mega[DOt]nz link. I can load it and have it start download, which moves it into download but then nothing happens.

Can anyone suggest anything? I tried different links from different hosts, all behave the same, so I know it is not an host-side issue.

EDIT: What I get is "Running" under Status column and an infinity symbol under the ETA column. It stays like that. I can force quit JD2 and on restart the downloads work for a while, but then the same behavior occurs.

Edit2: A new log here:
22.02.24 07.05.26 <--> 22.02.24 07.23.58 jdlog://1801411370661/

So zero files get downloaded or only imagdefap.com files but no mega.nz files?
Can you download the same [mega.nz] files without problems manually via browser?
Please provide example URLs for failing mega.nz downloads.

When did the problem happen for the first time?

No files get downloaded on any host. Not Mega not ImageFap or any others.

>Can you download the same [mega.nz] files without problems manually via browser?
Yes, for sure. I can use the browser for any of the ImageFap or Mega downloads for the same links.

All working fine here.
I didn't see any timeouts in your log though it is possible that a firewall somehow decided to start blocking all kinds of connections which JD is trying to open(?)
Disable your AV sofware and try again.

Either way I can't provide further hints like that so all I can offer is to do a Teamviewer live session later or tomorrow to investigate this with you.

Hey, thank you so much. This issue is so weird!

How do we do a live session? I really appreciate you help.

This is truly mystifying.

Please send me instructions and I will join you live tomorrow.

Thanks a whole lot.

Google "Teamviewer" and also download it from here to be prepared:
teamviewer.com/de/products/remote/get-started/

And send me a private message in this forum tomorrow once you see that I'm online.

I wanted to let you know that the link you provided:
https://board.jdownloader.org/showth...499#post518499

That solved the issue. It just took me a moment to comprehend what was going on.

Thank you for your help. I will save the remote session with you for another time.

Okay so the downloads did work fine, the starting of them was just too slow for you(?)

Thanks for your feedback!
Just keep in mind that you might trigger captchas and IP bans more often if you adjust those settings in a bad way.
