Please create debug logs. Enable Settings-Advanced Settings-Log.debugmodeenabled
and restart JDownloader. Then try to refresh/add the account and create log, see https://support.jdownloader.org/Know...d-session-logs and post the shown logID here

Firewall is killing the connection
va.net.SocketException: Connection reset Those are caused by local/remote firewall. From log I could tell that you have many many downloads going on and then abort because of *file already exists* I guess you've hit some sort of limits. You should not increase max connections in such a situation. Speed in browser is also slow? please compare speed graphs in taskmanager and don't compare shown speed in browser

Thanks for the reply.
The reason of file already exist is actually caused by myself. I have and duplicate file downloaded. and I dont know which is which label. So I copy all the link. and set the extraction path properly by copy the same link to the download queue and let it extract. I am currently using AVG. i already put everything to the exception list. maybe like you said, it is probably cause by duplicate link and server think i am doing DoS attack.... I actually have more than 500 link in queue |

You could use eventscripter https://board.jdownloader.org/showthread.php?t=70525 and remove existing files from list before downloading.
As far as I remember there is already a script for this or ask mgpai for help with this.

Rapidgator connection problems
Since the first day i bought my rapidgator premium account i get connection problems when downloading.
I start the download with 5 max downloads and 4 chunks per download, and after a few minutes i get connection problem and have to wait for 5 min before it starts again. I tried a few settings i found here like limit chunks to 1, limit download speed, enable experimental settings SSL. Nothing works, i keep getting the same problem all the time. Some help is really needed please. |

Please provide a logfile, see https://support.jdownloader.org/Know...d-session-logs
and post shown logID here. Create log after the issue occurs

Log is full of connection issues(resets). Those either comes from firewall of rapidgator or something on your system kills the connection. It might also be your ISP causing this issue.
Set max chunks per download to 1 and max downloads to 1 and then check if it keeps happening. If so, please create new log. Did you try same links in browser?

So it happens in browser as well?
Can you test with different internet connection? Maybe at a friend? To check if it's caused by local setup/firewall/av or ISP. You could also test with VPN and see if that helps.

Sorry, hopefully this one works. After I think I enabled debug, I restarted the program and refreshed the account, resulting in the cannot check account again.

Your JD got connection problem, usually caused by anti virus / firewall.

I successfully tried logging into over 25 free premium rapidgator logins before this connection problem. Not sure if trying a bunch of different logins has anything to do with it. Last edited by JVega; 02.05.2018 at 03:29. |

mass (failed) logins can easily result in (temporarily) firewall block from rapidgator.
Also check if you still can reach website in browser

Rapidgator Slow Download
Hey! I download from my Dedi and i get 40-50mbps download speed! Why ?
From other hoster i get over 100mbps! Thanks! |

Your internet connection speed has nothing to do with the download speeds you will get from different services. Speeds depends on routing/bandwidth/peering/latency and much more. What is *slow download* in your case? Did you check in browser/wget? Maybe your dedicated server is blacklisted? Many services throttle/block dedicated servers.

From browser is also slow! What can i do ?

In case it's slow in browser as well, chances are high that the host throttles the download from your dedicated server. In doubt you can contact their support

Rapidgator.net downloads aborting
Hey,
i got a problem, my downloads on rapidgator.net are aborting all the time. JD starts the downloady after the waittime I get the captcha and solve it and the download starts. After a few minutes at max the download just stops and I get the "You have reached your hourly downloads limit" message. 01.10.18 16.06.38 <--> 04.10.18 15.30.41 jdlog://3151464433151/ Max connections is set to 1, none of the boxes in the Plugin are checked and I use a rapidgator free account on a Win7 x64 machine with AntiVir. Any ideas what might cause this, I dont have this problem with any other hoster? Thanks in advance Last edited by kRz4tw; 04.10.2018 at 17:13. |

Log shows that the download stalls at the end of the download and fails with
SocketTimeoutException: Read timed out As it happens at the end of the file/download, it's very likely to be caused by firewall/av as it would try to scan the completed file/download and that causes the timeout. To check if this is caused by something on your setup (firewall, av...) you could boot up a Linux USB Distro(eg Ubuntu Live Desktop) and do a test download from there and check if it happens as well.

It doesnt happen at the end of the download, on a 1GB file it usually happens at 60 to 80MB. Might be you´ve seen a file finish eventually downloading after I loaded dozens of those 60-80MB chunks of the file (rapidgator allows to continue aborted dls on a free account).
I´m using only AntiVir and Windows firewall and dont get a message from either when the dl aborts, it also doesnt happen to any hoster. I´m honestly not suspecting the firewall. Any other ideas? Thanks |
#439
|
||||
|
||||
ReadTimeout happens when JDownloader/Application is waiting for data and longer than x seconds no new data arrives. In this case longer than 60 seconds no more data on network and those can be caused by server issues/ISP/routing but from experience over many many years (you can search in this forum), it's very very/nearly always caused by firewall/av. That's why I suggested to test a live linux distro (different setup) and in case it fails there as well, the cause is outside of your setup/system.

I tried downloading on my Pi, same thing.
I did some further investigation and seem to have figured out what triggers the abort though. If I start the download and leave it alone, do nothing else on the machine or smartphone or whatever, the download goes on until its finished. If I do some little browsing the web or watching youtube the downloadspeed throttles down and eventually aborts. I´m on a very slow internet so a rapidgator download and some browsing or youtube saturate my bandwidth. I see the download speed decreasing with every hoster if I do that, sometimes down to 5kB/s but the download never aborts and once I stop browsing it throttles back up to normal speed. On rapidgator it just can´t handle this throttling down it seems. Is there a way to set the threshold befor the download aborts, I figure I´d try this to see if the download "catches itself again"? Thanks |
