Hi Team JD,
I have an long time JD user and a fan.

I have enjoyed the Auto Reconnect feature all the while.
But, lately I can see sites like Rapidgator have started ditching this feature.
They have been using some kind of 'fingerprinting' which renders auto reconnect/refreshing the IP useless.
So, consecutive file download on Free Mode has become impossible.

BUTTT,
An Auto Reconnect+JD Restart does the trick. Somehow, the 'fingerprint' gets renewed on JD restart.

I would request you to implement an option for JD Auto-restart on Successful Reconnect, before initiating the second download.

This feature would remain optional, disabled by default. Users who need it can turn on.

There has been no changes at all in JDownloader that have to do with Downloads, Rapidgator nor with Reconnect. Also RG is no sponsor.

First of all,
I am sorry for what I had stated in the second post. I shouldn't have made such silly and prejudicial comment. I apologize.

Coming back to the point:
With sites like RG, for consecutive download using free mode,

1. (i) Successful Reconnect alone doesn't allow fresh download slots.
2. (ii) Successful Reconnect + Restarting JD allows fresh slots.

i.e. Restarting JD after an IP Reconnect fixes the issue.

Tested several times.

this is why I requested to incorporate the Restart feature on the Reconnect Settings Tab.

There is not a single sign of working reconnect. I can't see a single request of liveheader reconnect module + it reports successful within less than 1 second.
Does *Reconnect* Test work just fine?
Also log does not show a single error, just rapidgator plugin reporting that your IP has not changed. The plugin remembers this information and that's why a restart of JDownloader helps.
Can you please do a Reconnect Test?

This issue is still persisting.

Auto-reconnect successfully generates a new IP. But, that alone does not get a new download slot.
Download slot can be available with a Reconnect+JD restart

I don't think this is an issue with your reconnect setup.

filejoker could in theory recognize your again after a reconnect using cookies or to be more specific, if they used their Cloudflare cookies for that though I was unable to find out about this as I never ran into the limit.

Please keep trying and post some more logs - please make sure each log only contains activity of one host!

@DJwa163: Your logs again doesn't contain any successful reconnect. It shows the reconnect and previous IP. The marker after reconnect is missing again. Can you please create a log where you just hit the *do/test reconnect* button?
