I've just installed this plugin. I have about 200 credits and for some reason this plugin is keeping jD from autostarting downloads. I have to "force download" them to start. All I did was add fileserve and netload to the list as described in the readme.

I'm using the latest nightly.

JAC plugins have no influence over downloads. They are only called by the download controller not the other way around.

sorry, it was the "max downloads" which changed from 0 to -1 since the last update.

it keeps asking for captchas for depositfiles. is it just me?

To get Captcha Trader working with letitbit.net :

Edit Captcha Trader's jacinfo.xml (\jd\captcha\methods\captchatrader\jacinfo.xml) to include "letitbitnew" in "services=", replacing "letitbit.net" if you have one there. That's it.
You don't need to delete any folder, change or edit anything else.

However, don't do it right away because the letitbit plugin is not yet working 100%.
For many letitbit links, the plugin reports "plugin outdated" and download fails AFTER the captcha has been solved.
So if dont want to spend all your Captcha Trader credits for nothing, don't change your CT's jacinfo.xml and the captcha solving YET.
Plugin has been or is being corrected and updated, but hasn't been included in JDownloader's updates until now (25/02/2012).
Just wait for the next update, try the plugin first with manual captcha solving, and if everything looks allright, ONLY THEN edit CT's jacinfo.xml

Plugin updated, works ok now. (27/02/2012)

I've been using CaptchaTrader for a long time and I'm very pleased with it. I wouldn't know any other way of solving (Re)Captcha's but doing it manually.

If anyone is interested, I've made a batch command file that I use to enable or disable CaptchaTrader.
Basically what is does is rename the jacinfo.xml file. If you rename it, it no longer works so it's disabled but if you name it back to the original name it works again so then it's enabled.
Very simple since I'm no coder/programmer but it does the job
Personally I put this batch command file in the captchatrader directory and use a shortcut on the desktop to enable/disable it.

Make sure you open it with notepad and edit the directory depending on where your JD is installed or it won't work.

i dont get why captcha botherhood is windows only. jd is coded mutiplatform in java and this is a plugin and only needs to send the captchas to a server and get captchas froma server. cant be that hard to code that for linux.

Captchas of all other sites are successfully redirected to captchatrader.

Unfortunately, the site is STILL down(after three days). I'm starting to wonder if it's gone for good. I still had about 3/4 of my credits :/

I've been able to login with jCatGUi. It displays my current stats and lets me solve captchas.

But I haven't been able to load the website. I haven't tried downloading with JD.

I wonder what's up. They have been really good at answering emails in the past. And monitor twitter also maybe ask over those mediums. I've never seen a official response from CT here.

When I download captchatrader, it works fine for first few days.

After a few days, input.i-0.jpg file automatically gets deleted. Captchatrader stops working.

Then I am required to download a fresh installation from their official website.

Do all users face this problem?

think there latest jac plugin isn't as stable as there old. You shouldn't need to do a fresh install, those images should be created on captcha event into ct plugin. Best to talk to them about there plugin as we don't officially support it.

Is it still working for you guys? It seems to have stopped for me since early May and I do have credits left :/ I'm using the latest nightly of jD

quite unstable on jd2, sometimes works, sometimes doesn't. Maybe it's a timeout issue, or their server just sucks.

I've been in contact with CaptchaTrader, and this is the current situation.

CaptchaTrader has lost control of infrastructure that runs their website and API. This is due to legal action that's currently pending against them. CaptchaTrader does not have the ability to access their user database or backups. CapchaTrader will be offline until this situation can be resolved and CaptchaTrader is sorry that they can not continue services as normal. If you are a customer (as in you purchased credits) they said, they would issue a refund if you provide them with an order number and a estimation on your unused credits. Cash out (I assume this means from free users) will not be possible. Contact me if you would like CaptchaTraders email address.

This sucks, I used captchatrader to do my captchas during the day so that jdownloader could keep downloading at night. I could usually do enough captchas in one day to not have to type any for the next week or so.

Any alternatives out there?

I earnd over 8500credits the last days so that captchatrader do my captchas during the weeks im l´m lying in the hospital.

Thats a service like CT with JD plugin but without account managemant so that you cant see statistics . . . . Only the wait time between the captchas is to high. And for every wrong captcha you get 4 credits removed + you can´t skip not readable captchas.
