As Megashares have started today an update, associating Linkcards to a My Megashares account, JDownloader hasn't been able to recognize my premium Megashares account.

Should there be an update also for the plugin? If no update is required, which Login details should be used? the Linkcard details or the My Megashares details?

Same thing here ....
It seems that megashares has changed there system, it used to be only a linkcard was needed, an accoutn was seperate. Now you need an account, and your link card is associated with that.

Plus, all the status pages have changed. Thus, the method of determining is a user has a valid premium account has changed.

Cool hopefully we can get this fixed soon. The new, faster search in megashares is great, but this is a little annoying.

Hello, the message is back. Invalid account. I have been chatting with jiaz in the irc chat. sent my account info... turns out my password was too long. Fixed that made it shorter and i was good to go. Unlimited and downloaded a bit from that point till now. The message is back. I changed my password tried to add it again, restarted jdownloader and tried again. Did this happen to anyone else or is it just me.

Message is still there for me too. Tried changing password but no difference. Invalid account.

The plug-in update has been published yesterday. What's your version of the plug-in?

I have version 11239 of the megashares plugin

Refresh account...shows "Unlimited" for a few seconds and then "Invalid Account."

In search of new download software; JDownloader works great with my Hotfile and Rapidshare accounts, but not at all with my Megashares account.

I actually registered in their support board in which i found the jdownloader thread.
Their support was writing strange (negative) things about us so i respond.
Maybe megashares will work together with jdownloader so premium would then probably work forever!

the problem is with MEGASHARES and not with jdownloader. I've spent the last few days unable to even use my MS account. i've spent 3 days with a bimbo on their support email who still can't explain the difference between a username, a PIN and a password. Their system is strangely setup and they have difficultly documenting or explaining it. Ive finally managed to get logged into my MS account by creating a new username on the site and somehow it associated the account that i bought (although i'm at a loss to explain exactly how that happened). anyway i can download through their site by using flashget but not JD. they have messed with their own idiotic site for no apparent reason and have effectively made it practically impossible to use. such morons.

the problem is still there with jdownloader not being able to login to megashares.com, it was temporarely working ok yesterday, then today it quit again, i hope somebody fixes this issue soon, i really prefer using jdownloader for my stuff..please dont make me use their flashget piece of s***

i don't think the jdownload updates have filtered through yet, prbly in the beta builds. i've just rebooted my jdownloader and there's been no updates installed, prbly in the next 24 hours unless anyone else knows better!

Confirmed ... still same problem.

When the permium account is enabled, it shows "unlimited" then immediatly reverts to "invalid". Attempts to download result in the "get a linkcard" message in jD.

Test acounts still available to you (pswd not changed yet).
If you need links, let me know.

It seems that with the new system you have to create a user account and password.
Your linkcard and PIN is then linked to that, allowing premium access.
If you don;t have an account set up, you need to create one (even though you may have been using a linkcard and PIN before this).

Manual DL works ... just jD seems hosed.

They have a good colection ... just now it does not work with jD.

Hopefully it can be resolved.

Do NOT forget to create new "My Megashares" account and link your linkcard to it. And use this "My Megashares" account in jd

Nope. Using the new "My Megashares" account info (username, password) does not work.
Still shows "invalid account".

Cant get the last update.
I am on the nightly branch. But my megashares plugins stays at 11162.
Asking for an update doesnt do a thing.

I also tried closing JD and doing "C:\Program Files\JDownloader\jdupdate.jar" java -jar jdupdate.jar -branch NIGHTLY

Wont work either.

Anyone can help?

My version for megashares.com is 11256.

Allow java(.exe) and javaw(.exe) in your firewall and virus software. Disable the port 80/html/web scanner in your virus software.

But updates work, i just cant get this one and i dont know why :s

I don't care if you don't believe me. Your updating doesn't work. Something is blocking it.

Please wait for someone else to confirm it.

For nightly branch, megashares plugins is at 11162.
Plugins update in nightly branch is not synchronous with current version.
