I don't have a support but do have a log ID if needed. I have searched the forum and these threads for "flickr" with no results the same.

This has been the case for a week or so now on all flickr links - so thru 1 update at least.

jdownloader is started via

java -jar jDownloder.jar

uname -a
Linux X202EP 4.17.0-0.bpo.3-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 4.17.17-1~bpo9+1 (2018-08-27) x86_64 GNU/Linux

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Disable the flickr account in JDownloader and try again.
There are known issues with account handling in flickr plugin
It seems account login wants sort of *phone validation* and plugin fails to handle that
