I have had the opposite issue. If a video's default audio is English but has other language audio tracks, JD downloads the video with one of the other languages instead of the original English. What is the fix for that?

@goldensun87: sure english is original and not dubbed? I'm asking because proper support for original, dubbed, ai dubbed has been added several weeks ago. make sure your JDownloader is up2date and reset Settings->Advanced Settings->
Youtube.videofilenamepattern Youtube.audiofilenamepattern Youtube.variantnamepatternvideo Youtube.variantnamepatternaudio and restart JDownloader then you will see language and language type in filename/variant name

@jdmaster: your changes have nothing to do with the reported problem, complete different plugin/settings.

No need for this to go to advanced settings

Hi zusammen,
habe hier ein interessantes Problem an einem zweiten Rechner. Ich kann dort mit dem JD2 keine Videos von YouTube mehr herunterladen. In YouTube selbst bin ich mit meinem Konto eingeloggt. Log: 13.02.25 18.15.34 <--> 13.02.25 18.17.00 jdlog://4209411370661/ Testlink: **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** Ich sehe, statt dem erfolgreichen crawlen einer Audiodatei, Videodatei etc. leider dann nur eine kryptische Fehlermeldung: Quote:

Did downloading videos from YouTube go down again, about an hour ago? I was chugging along downloading around 100+ videos when suddenly they stopped. I have about 50 left and every one of them is reporting a status of "Temporarily Unavailable". Is this just me?

:outch: Danke. Hab mir das fast gedacht. Ich werde mal einen VPN einrichten. Das erscheint mir einfacher, als die Cookie-Methode.

Well I feel like a dummy... I tried many things, such as connecting to different VPN networks, resetting the downloads, closing & reopening JD2.. the list goes on. They're downloading again now. The fix? Apparently, me restarting my entire PC did the trick. Can't explain it, as tJD2 was the only program on my entire PC having any issues. But it's working now - 3/53 files downloaded as I'm typing this, and still going. Thanks for the response Jiaz, I'll try to remember to do a basic PC restart when/if this happens again!

@enjikari: most likely it was temp. ban of your IP/account(in case you are logged in).
when it happens again and easy methods don't help, just report back then ![]()

Hmmm... It may be presumptuous to imply that you're able to answer for VPNs but, I would have thought that if it was a temp IP ban then me changing VPN locations would have fixed that. But it didn't I changed states, countries, and even continents, but kept getting TEMP UNAVAIL. Any thoughts on this? I'm glad a standard, generic PC restart fixed the issue but, why didn't a VPN network change fox it first?

@enjikari: if ip change did not help, then it was either account bound issue or something else, maybe a new rolling out changes by yt.we will see how it is going.
without logs it's just wild guessing ![]()

I'm having some issues with cookies, I'm exporting them using Cookie-Editor, they've worked fine before, but now when putting them in it says "Unknown Error" in the status and says I'm temporary disabled for an hour, linkgrabber doesn't work at all right now for me either, it just crawls forever. |

@Xirix: please try a cookie export from fresh login/session. your cookie seems to be very large/include non relevant/outdated stuff.

Similar thing happened 2 weeks ago although the error message then was different. I only get to download youtube videos every couple of weeks. The first day all was ok. The next day I could no longer download. Last time it seemed to be a global issue whether I was on vpn or not. And a jdownloader update fixed it.
However this time I get the error without a vpn. But with the vpn turned on I am ok. I assume this means that youtube are targeting my ip address? After I make a certain number of donwloads? I don't always use a vpn because of the cost. And I assumed I was ok to download from youtube without a vpn? Is there something I can do to work around this without a vpn? |

@steve2038: youtube is not targeting your IP but detecting unwanted behaviour/usage

I don't know if it is me (application updated) but suddenly the app stop working on youtube while the very same works when copied in one of the many online downloaders in the web
I then realized that only links like the following **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** are not processed by JD2 while others work fine. Are you aware of any "protection" in same YT videos? |
