Default Limit filename from biqle or vk

example link(file with quite a long name):

**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**

right now I don't have a vk link to reproduce the problem but sometimes the filename ends up being weird html tags being part of it and filename going beyond 250 chars as well. Which results in JD generating a "invalid directory" error.
Now my request: Have a way to limit the filename to #of chars and omit the specials chars.

What OS are you using?
Newer OS/Filesystem all support filenames longer than 250 chars per path segment.
Can you please provide a log? See https://support.jdownloader.org/Know...d-session-logs and post logID here

I am using win10 x64. And right now I can't reproduce the "invalid directory" error because I cant find a link which ends up having a long html tags in the name(sometimes hundreds of chars). I suppose the 250 chars is not a problem on windows 10 x64.

this is the example link which gives me a long filename with weird characters in the name. e.g html tags. so it generates "invalid directory" error and won't download.

It can suggest an option:
"Clear unnecessary symbol from (audios?) title"

@djmakinera: such an option is not required because this is an error and filename parser *eats* too much.

It seems those links do require a vk account? I can't open them in browser either?

Yes, account is required. And I tried the link in jD again, it's still the same.

I cannot fix this issue without vk account. Either you lend me your account (send details to support@jdownloader.org) or you create a debug log. Enable Settings-Advanced Settings-Log.debugmodeenabled and restart JDownloader. Now try to reproduce the issue (add video and wait for wrong filename) and then create a log, see https://support.jdownloader.org/Know...d-session-logs and post the shown logID here

It seems you did not enable debug mode? It's important to enable it first and restart JDownloader. Log doesn't contain any crawling
