Default Restart queue / skipped files

hi @ all,

i'm using jd2 for a long time now, but i probably have a blind spot for the function i'm looking for
when the dl queue is finished, jd2 stops the automatic mode. how can i tell it to restart the queue with all the skipped files automatically when it reaches the end?

background: some files are being skipped because i / the plugin didn't input the (correct) captcha. i wished jd2 would retry the whole queue for as long as it takes to download everything.

is that option already built-in?

cheers

not possible automatically out of the box, but you can click start download and it should clear the previous failed states that are non fatal errors (this should include captcha skips), else you can use the bottom right hand corner and remove the skip states with right click function on the skip icon. you could also do this with event scripter, just be aware it could create infinite loop situation. that and ruin your capture reputation as not been a bot (recaptchav2)

believe some have made scripts to undo the skip status, have a quick look at the sticky script thread or mgpai posts.

Personally when files get skipped for whatever reason I simply highlight the skipped files some times there are several .. depending on why they were skipped such as disc full or sometimes the network connectivity went down etc ... and then I select with a right lick after their all highlighted and scroll down to the other menu and then select resume or if there is a corruption with the original dl or it is not resumable from the hoster that was a partial sometime, I have to hit the reset option ... after doing that then I restart JD with the Go button.
I dont use scripts although maybe I should look into it more ... just one way I have found to resume as long as the ones that were skipped are still available from the hoster.
