Default Question about the Installer?

Hi

I recently downloaded JD2 from the download link and when I was half way through the install my anti virus popped up with a adware called Sodo.exe.
I uninstalled JD2 and then re downloaded and installed again and the anti virus
popped up again with Sodo.exe
Does anyone know anything?

It is a false positive about optional adware during installation. You can simply decline/skip those offers during installation or use the adware free installer from http://jdownloader.org/jdownloader2

Just backup your complete cfg folder and restore/overwrite it late.

Open About Dialog of JDownloader, it will show you location. You can click on it.
By default JDownloader installs into %AppData%
