Default Connecting problems

I had a problem just after first launching JDownloader and starting a download when it had to reopen it kept trying to reconnect to megaupload and failing so i had to delete the data and start over
im suspecting that it may happen again when i have to close JD part way through the download because im at a public library and they have limited open hours (at home im on dialup) The file is 3.55gb so i would appreciate any help to prevent the connection issues

also on another note how do you reassemble a file that is split into 9 parts to upload to a server?
(yes my download is split into 8 410mb pieces and 1 358mb piece)

thanks

make sure you shutdown jdownloader correctly as that saves all relevant data before exiting.

to your last question, use jd unrar or hjsplit depending on what format it is. They are available in the addon/extension settings.
