Default Container DLC not exporting changed file names

Hi,

When i add a DLC to another JD2, the manually changed file names are not being exported. I think JD1 had JDC for that or something, so requesting some way to keep the changed file names (coz sometimes there's just too many).

Thanks and Regards,
MaKS

Hello! Sorry to bump this old thread. Was this ever implemented?

I was trying exporting DLC for the first time and it seems file name changes are not kept.

Thanks!

@ninguno: DLC is not meant for export/import. Meta information isn't fully supported and it highly depends on link type if filename is supported or not. Why you want to export to DLC? What are you trying to achieve?

@Jiaz: Thought it was for that.
It's because i have two instances and sometimes i need to migrate some links but not a problem.
But don't worry i can continue using the method i'm currently using, copying linkcollectorXX.zip between them.

Instead of copying linkcollector, you can use drag/drop or open as container to import the file
same for downloadListXX.zip

That's a nice trick! I don't have to rename the file to match the other instance anymore

Thanks for that, it's more than enough now
