Default [NOT a JD issue] Rapidgator Free Download Limit Frustrations

I wish someone would tell RG to fix their DL limit for free dl'ers I went to grab a couple of them and I was able to dl one that was just 25KB then after that it said download limit has been reached and I would have to wait an hour, after an hour it then said my download limit has been reached and so far it is saying I must wait 2 hours atm smh.
I wonder what it will say after the 2hours is up

I am reporting this due to frustrations more than anything and just incase others are seeing the issue too.

I am not sure that this is a JD issue or not but still very frustrating.

I'm using JD to try to grab then of course.

Seems like RG is trying to not be so friendly anymore.

Here are one set of links I'm trying for a free DL

I do not have the time to test this in detail but there are multiple possibilities:
1. They want you to buy premium and this is why they introduce more and more limits for free users.
This would mean that what you see are their normal limits/practices.
2. You got a shared IP (e.g. company network/university network) and other users are also downloading from rapidgator, causing the limit to get displayed again and again.

You'll have to find that out on your own.

The limits are serverside and come from rapidgator.net - JD just displays them.
Your issue is not JD related.

All of them are downloadable as a free-user here but yoiu have to wait in between or get around their limits to be able to download all of them easily.

Here are your options:
1. Get around their limits by reconnecting.
2. Get around their limits by using one or multiple proxies/VPNs.
3. Buy a premium account.

-psp-
EDIT

Sure you could also ask their support about these limits.
Maybe you've found a bug on their website

pspzockerscene,
Yea I know all that and that's mostly what I figured. Always good to report an issue and have it verified one way or another.

An FYI I am not on a shared IP so that is not an issue here.

Just an FYI after the two hours was up I then got the message in JD "You can't download more than one file within a certain time period in freemode (rapidgator.net)" the time wait then also was changed to around 10 minutes but it just kept flipping back to 10 minutes when the previous 10 minutes was up.

As far as I know JD only tries one file at a time regardless in free mode and waits for the captcha also so.

I ended up just shutting off the downloads and went to sleep. When I woke I restarted the dl's after JD said there was another update which I did and I had to wait 50 seconds for it to activate the Captcha and then JD started grabbing the next DL from the links posted above.

I will see when this one finishes what happens with the next one in the Que from RG.

Not sure why it seemed to work for you properly while mine kept looping it seems.

Anyway appreciate the work you all do and the confirmation it was working ok at least for you when you tried.

Once again troubles with Rapidgator. On starting a download as a freeloader, JD counts down from 50, then shows "starting" for 4-5 seconds, then again starts counting down from 50. This loops forever, at least for hours.

Do you have an explanation?

Br, Max

@maxi4711
1. Check and see if it works via browser - probably it fails there too.

2.

They seem introduced a new Daily Download Limit since yesterday
JD is unable to recognize this(name it server issue). After JD goes crazy like described and you try a Link in a Browser it shows "you have reached your daily download limit, try again later".
Thats after about 3 Files each 1 GB with a IP.
Or JD provoke such a Error, cause they only List "1 file per 120 minutes" not a Daily limit for Free users. 1 GB takes longer.

Please provide a log. JDownloader already has support for this error message but maybe the wording/layout is different.
Please enable Debug Mode first, Settings->Advanced Settings->Log.debugmodeenabled and restart JDownloader
Reproduce the issue and create a log, see https://support.jdownloader.org/Know...d-session-logs and post shown logID here

JIAZ, I don't think you need a log for this one. I have the same problem, which started about 2 days ago. But the issue is 100% with Rapdigator: they introduced new limits. When you go to the actual download page, it states "1 file per 120 minutes" ... so, I assume there isn't anything you can do about that.
Have a great weekend!

Why, its not difficult to read a HTML Page containing the message that you reach the daily download limit. Rapidgator may introduce the limit but its on JD to Handle it correct.

I have issues with RG too and maybe it's the same? Since about two days JD says "! ServerIssue".

JD will set a 4:59 min waiting time and try that with all available download parts again and again. I wasn't able to download any part at all since ~2 days or so. Free user.

@zOrlAc
Sorry I don't understand.
So ydo you think that there is a problem with our plugin or are you talking about a bug on the RG website?

It is not difficult at all.
Again:
I was not able to reproduce the issue.
Here is what you can do to help us handle it properly:
- Save the .html page of RG containing that errormessage, .zip it and attach it to your next forum post
- Post a log-ID in this thread

@Hering
What issue are you having?

@akswiff
Can you download the same file(s) fine via browser?
Please post your log-ID here | bitte poste deine Log-ID hier.

Yes but these have been recognized just fine or am I missing something?
E.g.:

Yes:
Code:
Delay between downloads must be not less than 120 min.<br>Don`t want to wait? <a style="color: red" href="/article/premium">Upgrade to Premium</a> and forget about delays!</div>
-->
Code:
jd.plugins.PluginException: ERROR_IP_BLOCKED|Value:7260000
	at jd.plugins.hoster.RapidGatorNet.doFree(RapidGatorNet.java:396)
This one is possibly new:
Code:
You have reached your daily downloads limit. Please try again later.<br>Don`t want to wait? <a style="color: red" href="/article/premium">Upgrade to Premium</a> and forget about delays!</div>
--> I've just added this new variation of that known errormessage to our errorhandling.

The HTML in the log says, that the daily limit has been reached. So instead of "!ServerIssue" a better message could be posted. I just wanted to help with this.

edit: just saw that others already pointed it out.

Jiaz, sorry for not getting back to you sooner ... with my message I meant to tell you not to bother with this issue, since the issue is 100% with Rapidgator, not JD
