Default Reinstalling Jdownloader 2 on a new drive

Hi so I want to move my jdownloader installation to a new drive.

Is the best option to go to File > backup > backup all settings. And make a backup file. Uninstall the current installation. Then reinstall on the new drive?

Will anything be lost, such as my download list?

There are many ways
1.) backup/restore the complete cfg folder of your JDownloader installation
2.) copy/move or backup/restore the complete JDownloader installation
3.) use backup/resture functions

I prefer 1 or 2 because they are much faster

If I move the complete Jdownloader folder for example from c:\program files\jdownloader to d:\program files\jdownloader, won't that cause some issues with the registry still pointing to the old spot or no?

JDownloader does not use registry. And you can update "open with" manually.
Or you do a fresh install to new location and replace it with old/backup one
