Default Automatic restart of aborted link download

In some various condition JD do not download a file end put it out of the queue with a red mark.
The reason may be outdate plugin, no right to write on disk and so on; but very often there is not a durable problem; you reset the link and the download starts without problem.

So I ask if it is possible to have an option to automatize this process; in other words JD can attemps by itself (for 2 - 3 times) to download ...i.e after 10 o more minutes all the links that was marked with red point.

This will be very usefull for the PC that was unattended

Thanks

Cool

Although this thread should go into the Suggestions & Wishes section of this board, I support this request as well.

I remember this was implemented in the good old Rapget.

I need this as well, every night in every download link list always 2 downloads get aborted in the middle preventing extraction after completing download, i must come in the morning and Enable (2) on the download list to make it work, not cool. :(

as i recall. back when jd had the decent gui it also had that feature. but for some reason they (the developers) removed it. it would be nice to have this back as i used to use it and its very annoying not having it.

+1 for this feature

The automatic retry feature will probably be implemented in the next design of the download engine. There are many errors that shouldn't be Reset by the customer, but retried by jD itself.

Search for "automatic retry" in the board and you'll find numerous discussions.
