Daily updates, Install Updates Silently not working
Hey guys,
I get so MANY updates from JD2. Like 2-3 a day and with the time it gets a bit annoying. Like i installed a update 2 hours ago and get the next update. Why do i get so many updates? I have the option "UpdateSettings: Install Updates Silently If Possible" turned on. And also both "UpdateSettings: Autohide Gui..." are turned on. Still i get this message that there are updates available every few hours. Is there a way to fix this? |

Because JD is under active development.
Which message do you mean? Is it a message or is it the blinking update symbol which is annoying to you. -psp-

Its a message at the right bottom of the Screen thats in front of every other window and it says "Updates available". It stays there forever, till i press it and install the updates or press "later". I can take i screenshot the next time it appears, if this helps.

I guess you mean the "Bubble Notify".
Go to Settings -> Bubble Notify -> "Show Bubbles if" --> Configure it the way you like it -psp-

@Crank436: You can also disable the blinking update icon
Settings->Advanced Settings->GraphicalUserInterfaceSettings.updatebuttonflashingenabled

Great, that worked! I'm ashamed i didnt find it by myself. Is there a way to install the updates automatically? Because, if i just turn off the blinking icon, i think i wont get any new updates at all, because i wouldnt casually press on updates. |

Thanks for your feedback
The updates will be installed once you exit JD. If you want you can also let JD auto update when in idle but that's not possible via standard features - you need to use an EventScripter script to do this. -psp-
