Default Severe bug! Clipboard!

I went to a page and there was text.. text only that I wanted to copy and paste for renaming a file.. All I did was copy the text from the page text only and it ended up downloaded junk.

It ended up with JDownloader copying every link and image from that page and downloading it!

all images on page
jquery.cycle.js it even downloaded! The latest version of JDownloader is unusable with clipboard on!

I had to figure out how to turn off clipboard as this version is severely bugged and unusable with it on.. It will fill my drive with junk files.

This actually a design feature, when you text copy in modern browsers the selected html behind the text component is also copied. JD analyses this and adds supported components. If you rather this not happen disable, settings > advanced settings > GraphicalUserInterfaceSettings: Clipboard Monitor Process HTMLFlavor

The thing is I was not copying a link at all just plain text.

This never happened before the update.

Example file name looks like

(Winter) [FRAC (Motomiya Mitsuki)] Kimi Naki Sekai (Kantai Collection -KanColle-) [English]

That is exactly what and all I copied but when I did I found it filled up the clipboard with many other links. But thanks for the tip unchecking the box it is now just clipboarding actual links I select and not the entire page as it use to. Not sure what changed in latest version to cause the behavior for regular text to do what it did but it's working normally again.

feature has been in JD2 for ~2-3+ years, this is nothing new. I don't think anything has changed within this feature for some time, though I could be wrong. Probably best if Jiaz replies, as he is the one that knows htmlflavour inside and out.

When you copy something in browser, then browser will also include the selections html into clipboard (some more , some less).

Advanced settings: GraphicalUserInterfaceSettings: Clipboard Monitor Process HTMLFlavor - Disable this
