Linkgrabber not aborting, affects download speed
Hi there,
I copy and pasted links into the Linkgrabber the night before. The next morning I noticed my downloads were going slower than expected. On checking I found that the Linkgrabber was still going, even though I had tried to stop them the night before. I tried again in the morning and still nothing. Eventually I had to restart JD2 in order to kill the link checking (and JD2 showed a popup asking if I really wanted to do this with links still being checked). After the restart I started my downloads again and now got full download speed. It seems not only did the link checking fail to abort, but it also affected the speed of my downloads by up to 25% which is very bad. Here is a log of what happened during the time : 27.03.17 19.54.00 <--> 31.03.17 08.37.08 jdlog://8398979150841/ Thanks Andrew |

Are you sure you did abort the linkgrabber? Closing the *adding* window will NOT abort it!
It just hides the window. At bottom right corner you will see icons for linkcrawler/linkchecker. Rightclick on them to abort. Depending on the links you've added to JDownloader , it might influence the download speed because of course requests are required for crawling/linkchecking.

I could not find any issues with abort. Worked fine every time I've tried
