Default Very slow download speed

This just started happening yesterday. I get slow download speed of 10 KB/sec.

https://imgur.com/a/8RiNmq3

It's almost as if the pause mode button is stuck to download at it's default of 10 KB/sec, when in actual fact it's not set.

17.02.23 09.22.09 <--> 17.02.23 08.50.42 jdlog://1013311370661/

And yet I download through the browser and it's at it's regular speed. Clearly a JDownloader problem.

The red line indicates speed limiter is either enabled by pause mode or user mode. The default speed limit for both pause and user mode is 10KiB/sec and red line is indicated inside the speed graphic and the speed figure inside table view is red. Since you indicated pause mode is not active by 'fact', then 'user error' has speed limiter enabled at user mode.

hope that helps.

btw this has been covered on the forum numerous times before, along with support article on this. Did you search ?

Mine is located down here under the wrench & screwdriver icon as you can see here:

The 10 KB/s box was ticked and I never ticked it.

I spent about a half an hour looking for it. Why does it not look like it does in the support article?

Not sure to be honest, psp made (& last edited) the article. The guide shows via properties overview. Personally I do not have it enabled there as its adequately presented else where redundantly. I would agree with you, the article should show default installation vs something that you need to enable from a sub properties menu which itself may or may not be utilised by the user at all.

alternatively
you can find it in windows os at the top main menu, but not with mac.
you can right click in the speed graphic itself and it will bring up the menu
and bottom right hand corner in download tab inside the screwdriver X spanner.

I would have assumed the latter is how you enabled it, or maybe hotkey?

The guide shows both because:
- Pause mode is shown in main toolbar by default
- Speed limit setting is "hidden" in bottom bar quick settings by default
It also links to another article, explaining both kind of speed limits in detail:
https://support.jdownloader.org/Know...mit-pause-mode
The main article only shows a screenshot of the speed graph but does not refer to the 'hidden by default' speed limit in quick settings.

I was unable to find any possible improvements for that article:
https://support.jdownloader.org/Know...mit-pause-mode
It does assume that the user is on default settings and shows how to display the quick settings.

I forgot about that one.
I've included that information in the 2nd article.

I've also made some more adjustments to the 2nd article to make things clearer.

@GWT10
Thanks for your feedback!
Feedback on existing support articles is btw. also welcome.

I have same problem before. Now it SOLVED! Just check in your "Download" tabs, in the bottom corner, there is a little "Setting" icons. Click on that and uncheck the Speed Limit!

You 're welcome!

PS: Sorry for my english!

Do you want to post this in every thread which is about the topic "slow download speed"?
