Clicknupload.org no longer resumes download if interrupted.
Clicknupload either no longer resumes on interruption or there is some kind of auto reset timer if you take too long, either way, it starts over again.
example Code:
**External links are only visible to Support Staff** |

Clicknupload No longer resumes-Having Same Problem
Gentlemen ... I have been having the same problem now for the last 2 days. Please fix this problem for Clicknupload is a really nice little file sharing service that I use a lot. It works really well for me with my unreliable Internet from Satellite.
Thank You ever so much for your help in this matter. MsPM |

Seems like resume- and more than 1 connection per file is not possible anymore (serverside).

Server doesn't respond with correct headers and that's why resume doesn't work.
Server responds with 200 instead of 206 header and also doesn't provide content-range response. They have to fix this server side

Hi Jiaz ... so your saying (I'm assuming) that it's a Clicknupload problem (not a JDownloader problem) with a particular server of theirs and because it's only a problem with One of their servers it's an intermediate problem that only occurs with links on that server ... am I correct ???
If so ... how does one inform Clicknupload of this problem so it can be fixed on their end ??? Can you do this for us or can you explain to us how we could do it (using the correct terminology) to make them aware of this problem ??? Again your help in this matter would be greatly appreciated for as I said before ... Clicknupload was a nice little file sharing service to use (when it was resumable). MsPM (Pam) |

I don't know if they do this on purpose (not comply with RFC) or just wrong server configuration. The correct server response to a Range-Request is response code 206 with correct content-length AND content-range response headers. The tested servers do answer with 200 (which is wrong) and no content-range response header. This is not allowed by RFC and therefore fails in JDownloader and other tools that don't *do wild guesses*

@MsPM: with next update, resume/chunking will be disabled by plugin to avoid issues with downloading. In case plugin *thinks* that host allows resume but it doesn't, this can end up in broken download or wasted captcha/download slot

Oh Boy Jiaz ... your answer/explanation is completely over my head. I think you are saying that Clicknupload is doing something no allowed by RFC. Can we somehow inform Clicknupload that this is happening with one of their servers ... and hopefully they will correct it.

No, with next update we disabled support for resume because it's broken/wrong on server side. We disable it(resume feature) to avoid download issues.
