Default Turn off Switching to JD when Clipboard Observer discovers Links

I searched the forums and couldn't seem to find anything on this. Sorry if its already been asked and/or there's already a solution.

When Clipboard Observer is on and it discovers links it brings JD to the front taking you away from the page you were copying links from. It's a bit annoying when you are going though a page and selectively copying only the links you want and JD forces its way on top everytime you copy.

It would be nice to have an option which allows JD to remain in the background when it discovers links. Also if it played a sound when it discovered links could be good too (it would have to be a very short sound like a tick and maybe not play for every discovered link but rather if it discovers any links for the current copy).

We also still need an option to stop captchas from popping up on top.

re: clipboard

this sounds more like a question than a request.

all versions allow for this

which version of JDownloader are you using? So I can give you directions.

and yes on the forum already.

re: captcha on top

I'm using JD2.

Sorry, Like I said I searched around but I couldn't find anything so I figured it was something that needed to be implemented.

Cheers

1) http://board.jdownloader.org/showthr...kgrabber+ontop
highlight fields are what I used to search.
2) captchas ontop option will most likely be a toggle button, which will prevent downloads from starting with captcha.
Search: Keyword(s): captcha, disable ; Forum: JDownloader 2 - Beta or Suggestions & Requests

hmm weird, the value of linkgrabberframetotoponnewlinksnenabled doesn't seem to make any difference for me. It always pops up on top regardless of the whether its enabled or not. I changed the value and 4 times and restarted JD after each change. Anything else I should check here?

As far as captchas go I'm not wanting to disable captchas, I just want to stop them from popping up on top. Now that we have sound alerts it would be perfect to get the sound, finish what ever you're doing and then fill out the captcha. Merely just turning them off or on is like the analogy of boiling the kettle and being forced to make a cup of coffee immediately after it's boiled or not having coffee at all. I would prefer to hear that the kettle has finished boiling and then wait until the best time to pause my movie/game/whatever and then make my coffee and if the kettle has cold in that time then I'll just boil it again.

you need to disable both settings highlighted in my img.

There are tickets for that also.
