My clock shows AM and PM. How do I set it like yours to get rid of the AM and PM settings so that it is timed like the 24-hour international clock? Example: instead of it displaying 1:00 PM, it should display 13:00, or 10:15 PM should be 22:15.

What timezone are you from? What country?

Time zone is GMT+2. How does that affect the clock setting?

Can you provide a screenshot? Maybe its because of your local timezone settings
I have 00:00 to 24:00 Editor in JDownloader.

Where do I find the "Editor" you are referring to? Screenshot attached. Local PC time setting always in 24-hour format.

isn't time in JD based on operating system default time formatting?
For me, JD interface it uses AM/PM in line with my OS formatting preference. though, JD does provide means to override that, GraphicalUserInterfaceSettings.datetimeformataccountmanagerexpiredatecolumn GraphicalUserInterfaceSettings.datetimeformatdownloadlistaddeddatecolumn GraphicalUserInterfaceSettings.datetimeformatdownloadlistfinisheddatecolumn raztoki

@raztoki: Java uses os time formatting by default, yes.
That spinner in GUI is an example for that

I am duly aware of my operating system time and date settings. It is not the 12-hour AM/PM format, and I did say in my earlier post that my PC always uses the 24-hour time format. Advanced settings are for advanced users. Less-advanced users like me really only require a simple option to choose where it boils down to such an important programme feature. Therefore I am very happy to know that the developers are now going to take care of it. Thanks again. |

Feature #83419 • International Clock
Hi everyone
How is the development of this feature is coming along? Are the developers still planning to implement it? Even with regular use of the 12-hour AM/PM style clock, it is frustrating to have a scheduled download fail, simply because I have inadvertently forgot to correctly set the AM/PM part of the clock. Has no one else ever experienced the same thing, I wonder? Thank you. |

|

Its still not done, the type of clock depends on your locale. We first have to find out how to change this default java behaviour/customize it

it does read system time. the ticket is about showing outside system locale settings (windows: control panel > regional and language > formats)

Suggestions
Hello
When downloading stop by schedule please add shutdown. Enable and start only certain downloads and hosters by schedule. Many thanks creek |
#182
|
||||
|
||||
@Bach
yes shutdown hook should be present, hopefully we can add that shortly. scheduler frame work is more intended for issuing global events. For example, Starting/Stopping all downloads, enable/disable all accounts, setting stop mark. There is no way within our current frame work to get that finer control within the scheduler. My advice would be for you to look at the event scripter, as you could get your desired outcomes with a bit of code and micro management. raztoki

It's not about your System settings, but what the default locale settings for your country. I've updated scheduler editor with next core update to show 0-24 hours instead of am/pm

Works perfect, many thanks. I have an internet by satellite connection with 100GB traffic volume and a free time between 0:00 and 05:00 so this is a really useful addition.
I shut down my PC with Windows Tast Scheduler, no big deal. Last edited by archer; 03.08.2017 at 07:35. |

Hi there - would like to suggest a new scheduler action:
Start Linkgrabber on a specific list of links. Thanks for your consideration! |

@james126:
Please use the eventscripter for this. For example you could misuse the comment field to add start information and an eventscripter script that checks comment and then starts the downloads. If you need help with eventscripter, contact our master mgpai for help

Seems to be a problem with the scheduler, whenever i try to create a new one or edit an old one it's using 24 hour time instead of 12.
it's still showing the proper 12 hour time in the next execution spot though. how do i change it back? |

|
||||
|
||||
I will add an option to change it. It got recently changed because user wished it

@Hartm: Please use Eventscripter for that, check https://board.jdownloader.org/showthread.php?t=70525
Ask mgpai for help. He is very talented with the eventscripter

Scheduler Access
The scheduler beta works perfectly. Very useful for those of us forced to use cellular internet access with additional night time data.
Just a suggestion but it deserves more visibility. Maybe a an extra tab on the tab bar or an icon on the toolbar above the tab bar. |

You mean an extra tab that contains the scheduler panel? similiar to the MyJDownloader panel?
