What's the easiest way to download from pan.baidu.com
Hello
There's a couple of files on pan.baidu.com I need to download. Looks like you need an account, which I'm unable to create from outside China... I'm reading that you can use something called pan.baiduwp.com, if you add it and then set a dummy user/password, but it doesn't seem to be working whether i'm adding the original links, or change the url to be baiduwp instead of baidu. Am I just doing it wrong, or is that plugin broken? UPDATE: I've added a usage rule that says to use baiduwp as a multihoster, and it still doesn't work. I even unchecked the regular baidu provider to try to really force the multihoster, and then it just says "Disconnect?" when trying to download. Thanks! Hi,
pan.baiduwp.com seems to be down here ... so how do you think should it work in JD? I'm sorry I don't have any other suggestion for you. Even with account you would not be able to downlaod from baidu with JD as our pan.baidu.com login process is broken - see tickets linked in our forum ... -psp-

Aaah that's too bad. Thanks for getting back to me!
Sorry to hear about the login process being broken, I was in the process of getting an account, and I really want to use a download manager I trust, so I don't have to install their sketchy "net disk client" or whatever it's called. Maybe I can figure out how to direct download from their site once I figure out the account situation. |

You do not have to install their strange client.
There are open source github projects out there which should be able to download from baidu ... maybe even without requiring an account. -psp-
