@Gismo10111
Use this one.
I just put 3-4 other Hotfile threads into the international thread...
One thread is enough!

Default Reminder to All Users

Reminder to All Users

Read the rules!

Posting of incomplete information (such as a log scrap) or arguing with a staff member is grounds for a warning. We do not like to issue warnings, or at least three of you would have received a warning.

Once a developer (Jiaz, for example) recognizes the problem, more posts just waste the time that could go into fixing the problem.

Thank you to the user who suggested backtracking to the previous version of the plugin, but Jiaz would have done that by now if it would work. The problem is that the plugin had to change to match changes made by Hotfile.

For some reason, Hotfile (among other hosts) occasionally decides that JDownloader is too good and they need to find a way to block it. However if they are doing this to Premium users, that would be extraordinary.

I'm having a different problem with hotfile premium. First of all it takes a couple of minutes for JDownloader to check the status of the links, when the download starts it waits at Connecting for a minute then status changes to Disconnect? and counts down from 5 minutes. My Hotfile premum is working and the links are OK, i can download them fine from the browser.

example link: hotfile.com/dl/61554151/6908e4c/Minecraft.exe.html

My Jdownloader verison is 0.9.580

Cool

The link worked for me, but the reCaptcha was very difficult. You've a premium account and no captchas.

It's possible that the servers aren't ready.

If after the wait you can't get the file, could you please provide a complete log?

Default Hotfile is working again

After about 5 days of getting the "fatal error" Hotfile has started working again. I suspected the issue came from the HOTFILE end, because free downloads were working in JD as well as other file servers Netload and Rapid.

You might like to look at this thread, as we have all been having quite a lot of problems with hotfile.com

http://board.jdownloader.org/showthread.php?t=19317

From a personal point of view I still cannot download hotfile links through JD - I can manually through the browser and also via other download managers like flashget etc but not via JD.

Hope this helps.

Default Hotfile Premium now working

Hi all,

I have no idea how it happened, and I haven't been aware of any JD updates, but my premium account with Hotfile *** is now working again ***

I'd have similar 'fatal error' messages whilst trying to download as premium - JD was always working as a free user

Anyway, all I did was this:

1. Remove the Hotfile premium account details from JD

2. Fully close down and exit JD

3. Restart JD and re enter the Hotfile premium as a new account

4. Downloads working as though there was never a problem

Not sure if this will help anyone else, but it's worth a try. It also makes me wonder if this was ever a problem with JD

Not seen any updates, so why would it work now?

Taram

Default Hotfile Premium now working

You're welcome

I hope it helps the JD developers as well. I previously tried to remove the account then add it again (without exiting) - didn't work and no downloads

The only thing I did this time was to ***completely*** exit JD, then restart and add the account details as premium

Interesting. We know that part of the problem is that Hotfile has changed the interface.

I am guessing that after an account fails, JDownloader needs the account fully reset.

Taramaster - thank you for your solution : I tried but it did not work for me.
And a big thank you to the programmers of jdownloaders (this is my first message :-) )

I noticed something with jdownloader.
I can download on a fast and regular basis only from rapidshare and netload.
I am premium at rapidshare (and recently hotfile), but not at netload.
And I cannot download fast from hotfile "in a stable manner" (even with a premium).
It is very rarely fast. But most of the time it opens the connexion at 40kB/s and goes slower and slower and loses the connexion. And the same situation has extended to Sharingmatrix (idem for fIlesonic) and Megaupload (!).

But I have noticed that when a fast connexion with rapidshare (premium for me) or netload (non premium) is opened, and then a download is launched from another provider (megaupload, hotfile (premium), SM OR Filesonic (not premium), then this second is very fast and stable.

It is as if the first connexion (to RS or Netload for me) had opened something for the other connexions or had done part of the first routines for the other connexions which usually make problems (like MU, Filesonic, or Hotfile).
That is not logical, but it works for me on a regular basis.
Is it at the level of java or at the level an API which does something when working and enables other connexions to work better ?

Test :
I have just tested to start a download from a MU link (non premium) in JD: my download was super slow (like 10kB/s). Same with a hotfile link as a premium (a service for which I pay): it was slow and stopped.
Then I started a netload link with JD as non premium : it goes fast (like 600kB/s) and then I start the same Mu link as before and it goes fast. Idem for the hotfile link.
But as soon as the netload download is finished, bye, bye, the tunnel is closed : the hotfile download becomes slow (10kB/s).
:-) Same as in the Cinderella tale : the coach turn into a pumpkin again. ;-)

I hope it helps. Or at least made you laugh.
And a big thx to the JD community.
Bye
Marco Piero

PS : ****other details***
Personnally the problems started a the very last hours of June, or right at the beginning of July.
Impossible to start to download "fast" on a regular basis from Hotfile and sharingmatrix (idem them with filesonic)
And from the beginning of August it extended to megaupload.
Most of the time, it opens a connexion at 40kB/s and goes slower and slower and loses the connexion (same with megadownloader and other downloaders).

Allow java and javaw in your firewall and virus software. Disable (or un-install) the port 80/html/web scanner in your virus software.

Also lower your number of connections (Max.Con. in bottom right corner of your jD window) to 1.

If that doesn't help, please post some example links and provide a complete and detailed log.

I had the same issue for 2-3 days two weeks ago. Nearly every hotfile download ended up with a CRC error. But the files were OK, RARs could be extracted without error. If there was really a CRC error WinRAR would complain. So it either was a problem with CRC check within JD or hotfile sent wrong checksums. The problem disappeared here by itself.

no it is mainly hotfile host that is the problem...
all other host passed the crc check..

just hotfiles would report crc check failed in jdownloader..

This appears to be a problem at hotfile. For some reason, their servers appear to be sending bad data when they send at high speed. When you download in parallel with Rapidshare, Hotfile downloads at a much lower speed and there are fewer errors.

If you are getting repeated CRC errors on a host, please the submit links and upload a log using the links. We can then check that it is not a JD problem.

I can easily download your first link as a freeloader.

The jD Team wants to offer some degree of privacy to its customers and at the same time protect the links against abuse. The links aren't shown in search engine results.

I can download it as a free user as well.

That's not the problem.

The problem is all the downloads report crc check failed with hotfile host only.

I didn't spam. Someone converged all the posts together making it look like spam.

Anyway, this has reoccurred problem with me.

I did not fix problem last time, it fixed itself.

Usual thing about it not recognising the account so i'm assuming the rest follows if it doesn't think the account is working.

The id that the program gives hotfile when its downloading - perhaps this could be randomised or something?

also this thread should be called "All hotfile related problems in here thread"

Edit: Now its working again. This is seriously dodgy. They are definitely doing something which is causing jdownloader not to connect and therefore thinking it is invalid account. Perhaps with hotfile this should be changed or altered in some way like reducing the amount of times it is making a connection to hotfile so its not considered spamming their servers

Hey all. First of all, I really love JDownloader. Been using for at least a year now. My HotFile premium account seems to also be invalid like shadowdogg above this post. I also experienced download speed issues and it also was when downloading from RS.

do you still have the issues with account invalid? if so please report back.
we now use the api of hotfile for premium users. that can still be buggy.
as for download speed. jd has no influence on that but i also have sometimes bad speed on hotfile (premium, even in browser). i guess some of their servers are simply overloaded. sometimes they work fine, sometimes slow as hell.

Yes, the account is still invalid. I right click to refresh the account it flicks onto "Unlimited" and then falls back to saying invalid.

I am experiencing very slow HotFile downloads in browsers too atm so it isn't JD.

Please try setting Max. Con. to 1. A premium account should fill your download without higher Max. Con.

xrayman2k4,
The plugin out of date message is misleading. Hotfile has locked your account. You will have to go through support there to get it unlocked.

shadowdogg,
Please try using File -> Restart in JD - twice. See if that helps.
