I haven't used JDownloader in a while, so when I opened it up I installed the new updates that I didn't have. Since then, I cannot obtain .mp3 files in my linkgrabber. This is basically the only reason why I use JDownloader, to get audio only files from youtube. Anyone know why this is happening?

Youtube 1080p issues fixed.
1080p videos can only be downloaded using the JDownloader 2 BETA.
FFMPEG is also needed to do this.
On the first download-try, JD will show a message with the install instructions.

Weird, Jdl asking me for the path... /var/db/pkg/virtual/ffmpeg-0.10.3, after I choose this path nothing happens...(the path seems not be accepted).

When I tested the new dash support, I ran ffmpeg via cmd (in windows). Then it worked.

set as value, the directory of ffmpeg, in my case is:

C:\ffmpeg-20131127-git-a12b4bd-win32-static\bin\ffmpeg.exe

It has been reported. Please only do click on continue, not need to search (browse) the path of ffmpeg again.

seems theres a dash version of each resolution except for 1080p. I guess its a case by case basis which to choose.

I found the path to my ffmpeg.exe file Ok and download continued but after 100% downloaded I still have 2 files ending in DASHaudio and DASHvideo obviously not associated with any program unless I renamed them?

Hm the dash is gone now, not sure if thats good or bad, the 360p dash sometimes was good for a faster download at slightly lower quality, its not something i'd choose if i weren't in a rush or cared about the visual content but maybe it was nice to have as an option.

I'm downloading an MP4 from YT and suddenly this message about the missing FFMpeg pops up. Why would I need ffmpeg to download YT videos? I've browsed to the FFMPEG folder but the next time I started JD2, I got the same message... after having successfully download 5 or so othe MP4 clips from YT already. What gives?

Hi, I've some problems with jdownloader 2, the plugin FFmpeg and downloading mp4 format:

I set up the route with the pop-up window when it asked for my ffmpeg, when I hit "confirm" it says "installing plugin" "initiating" then the status changes to "an error occurred" "try to reset the link (out of date plugin)". And nothing happens, so I cannot download one single mp4.

P.S:
On advance settings my FFmpeg setup: merge command is set:

My ffmpeg setup: Binary path is set fine.

Hi, I ran ffmpeg on cmd and it works fine, I just converted some videos without any problem, I've also checked the logs and I think I've found the error:
