I recently upgraded my JVM, and now at any link I try to download... megaupload, rapidshare, mediafire, http, anything I get the same error. AT first it says it cant verify the disponibility of the link, then when I say ok.. I want to download it anyway (I've checked on the link manually) I got the error
java.lang.ClassCastException: sun.net.ApplicationProxy cannot be cast to jd.http.JDProxy... I have Java installed (1.6.0_16). JDowloader 0.6.193 I work behind a Proxy Have used JDownloader almost for a year now.. .and never had a problem with the Proxy till now... In fact I'm still trying to upload the log and the JD hasn't finished or at least it seems so.. I saved the log and pasting some of it here.. because it keeps "uploading" "18/08/2009 05:53:07 PM - INFO [java_downloader] -> Module started: jd.plugins.host.Rapidshare@19d3901 18/08/2009 05:53:07 PM - INFO [java_downloader] -> Module started: jd.controlling.JDController@1b77f8 18/08/2009 05:53:07 PM - FINEST [java_downloader] -> Hoster Plugin Version: 9999 18/08/2009 05:53:07 PM - SEVERE [java_downloader] -> SEVERE Exception occurred java.lang.ClassCastException: sun.net.ApplicationProxy cannot be cast to jd.http.JDProxy at jd.http.HTTPConnection.<init>(HTTPConnection.java:57) at sun.net.**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**) at java.net.URL.openConnection(Unknown Source) at jd.http.requests.Request.openConnection(Request.java:445) at jd.http.requests.Request.connect(Request.java:223) at jd.http.Browser.connect(Browser.java:313) at jd.http.Browser.openRequestConnection(Browser.java:527) at jd.http.Browser.getPage(Browser.java:299) at jd.plugins.host.Rapidshare.handleFree(Rapidshare.java:323) at jd.plugins.PluginForHost.handle(Unknown Source) at jd.controlling.SingleDownloadController.handlePlugin(Unknown Source) at jd.controlling.SingleDownloadController.run(Unknown Source) 18/08/2009 05:53:07 PM - WARNING [java_downloader] -> Error occured- latest:ERROR_FATAL 00100000000001100000000000000001 <Statuscode 00000000000000100000000000000000 |ERROR_FATAL 00000000000001000000000000000000 |PLUGIN_IN_PROGRESS 00100000000000000000000000000000 |PLUGIN_ACTIVE 00000000000000000000000000000001 |TODO 00000000000000000000000000000001 |VALUE_ID_PREMIUM_DISABLE StatusText: Conectando... Well no because a week ago I used the same Jdownloader version with no problem at all... I bet something in the sun JVM changed that is making JD not to work properly

If you think it is the JVM, why don't you revert to an older version (JRE 1.6 update 14), as was recommended by tony2long?
