Default Download part/fragment of Youtube Video

Hi all! Wondering if there is way to set a time fragment of youtube video to download? In order to save time and space

currently no, JD downloads the entire video

There are no plans to add support for this because this feature works differently for each streaming format

if you are interested in the 'save space' part, auto post processing is possible with eventscripter 'to set a time fragment '. let me know

@zreenmkr: nice idea, you mean download complete and then "cut out" the wished fragment?

yea, with ffmpeg or mp4box or yt-dl which i've used before

I havent found the need to implement into a script yet. only used it in cli environment. the cmd are pretty well documented.
