[B]Seit nunmehr gut 10 Tagen ist es mit dem Herunterladen von Links aus Spielfilmen mit meinem Megaupload-Premium-Konto nicht weither. Alle links werden nur sehr schleppend heruntergeladen, immer mit bestimmten Wartezeiten, sodaß es unendlich lange dauert bis der ganze Spielfilm heruntergeladen wird. Mehrere Anfragen bei Megaupload blieben bis heute unbeantwortet, und ich frage mich nun, ob dies ein Problem von Megaupload ist oder vom JDownloader.

The problem still remains the same. Very slow download from Megaupload-Links, and always from one link to another you have to wait some time. Those are not the condiions for a Premium-Account. I would appreciate very much if you look again into this matter and try so solve this problem soonest.

slow speed comes from megaupload as it seems to be server overloaded because no more captchas and their layout changes

why jdownloader waits the 25/45 seconds?
direct link is in the source web page before the countdown finish

for example it´s posible to download without wait in firefox with this

I've had major problems with Mu over the last couple of days too. I seem to get a link every now and again that crashes JD for no reason mid-download. Here is the link I'm struggling with **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** I repeatedly get stuck at 26.68Mb (out of 100Mb). JD becomes unresponsive and the GUI is missing or just sort of copies other windows. Task manager shows the process as still there, using no ram or processor. No choice but to end task.

I know, I know logfile! For the 1 millionth time could a kind soul tell me how to get it? lol

we did skip the waittime once = > result was that megaupload tried to block jd again and send invalid server responses. i mean 25 secs waiting, thats okay.

Ahh my brain. I read enough to realise I'm not the only one and there's an update in development (the nightly version). I'll have to live with it and wait patiently

OK after trying it for a few hours with a few different links. I keep having the same issue. The download starts as usual but then it just stopped transferring data. Using the nightly version keeps the client from locking up, but it doesn't enable me to download from Megaupload. This issue first occured with a link a couple of days ago but now affects every single link, to the point where I can't get anything from Megaupload. I posted in this thread because it's only Mu, and perhaps not exactly the same problem as the hang-up/freezing one.

It seems it was megaupload server-related. I started getting problems in firefox too. It seems to be ok now. Fingers crossed

Did you try it in your browser? It's possible that this comes from a server that has issues. The Nightly test version of jD is able to cope with these issues.

Yes basically Megaupload was really playing up and was unusable through firefox, JD or the other downloader client i sometimes use. For over 3 hours, very unusual. The nightly version is more stable and hasn't locked up once so far, although there are a few bugs which have been fixed in the standard version. Ie for MU when the first link is returned as "download limit exceeded" it goes on to check and try all the other MU links as if it doesn't realise there is no point. From Mu's point of view surely they can see my 45 Mu links (Damn you Hd!) being checked over and over every 10 minutes? When I see it doing that I disable it for an hour or so (reconnect doesn't work for me, I've a very sticky Virgin ip)

Yes. I've got captcha disabled too if that makes any difference. I have to say I've downloaded about 12 100Mb links without the download limit kicking in again though

I'm keeping an eye on it, I haven't received any messages such as "we have received an unusual number of requests. . . ",

just the usual "download limit exceeded" but lots of them all with their own 10 min counters. I should be due for another "limit exceeded" soon I'll try and watch what happens in real-time.

I still haven't hit another "download exceeded" I seem to be going for some sort of free-user-record for the most downloaded in one session.

But I noticed the "log" tab and went back to earlier today and I think it may have the info you want.

I'm having a problem with MU and I posted it in the "JD freezes and can't close" thread, but I believe this thread might be the right one (I'll delete the other one if this is the case). Here's a copy and paste:

I have the very same problem, BUT, if I let JD frozen, it still keeps downloading files (I can see my USB wireless adpater/stick LED "blinking") and after several minutes it unfreezes itself. Then, I see one of the files shows a problem (JD shows as "Connection lost" and JD NIGHTLY shows as "Network problems" and it starts a 10min. countdown to re-enable the file do be DLed). This happens to specific files and if I try to download them, manually, using FireFox and my MU premium acc, I get very low speed (I got 2MB internet connection, so max DL is 240kb/s and low speed equals 70kb/s or less), usually less than 30kb/s. It seems to be a problem with MU itself and not JD, but the thing is, wether the download stops at a certain point or I let JD resume it until it eventually get 100% DLed, I end up with a corrupt file.

The current file giving me this problem is: **** External Links are only visible to supporters ****

I have Win 7 x64 fully updated , java fully updated, Avira AV, Win Firewall on and JD updated (both "normal" and nightly versions).
I also have tried the "Reset" option. Nothing changes.

I also think it may be to do with resuming files. I have 3 files that whenever I try them MU downloads a small amount of the file, perhaps 5mB and then stops, the next file is either 1-2Kb's or gives the "download limit exceeded" message.

I will try the 3 problem files after I've downloaded all the others (I seem to have a golden free-user ticket or something at the minute), first as a resume and if that doesn't work then with a full-reset. I'll keep my log

On another note I'm still downloading in that same free-user session, I lost count of how many links I've had but it's a lot perhaps 20, all 100mB links. 2gB in total!

After posting my last message, it just occurred to me that I have MegaManager installed and could give it a try (not for all files, but only the file I mentioned before).

Even with MegaManager I get error, so it's not JD fault.

So I guess it's MU servers problems, right? MegaManager shows "error code 902" or "error code 0" when DL fails. Also, when it happens, I loose large chuncks of the file already downloaded. With JD it always resume from where it stopped. Maybe this causes the corrupt file?

corrupt files should not occur but if yes, that means a server issue. we cannot detect that kind of failure as a crc error means server is sending wrong data in such a case. lets hope they fix those servers soon.

Edit. I think I understand the nature of the problem completely now and have a convoluted fix. What is happening is odd MU links (1 in 15 or 20 roughly), are timing out mid-download due to a problem with MU's servers. Now if you, resume the link or even reset, Megaupload thinks you are still downloading the link and returns the message "download limit exceeded" whereas if you go to the Mu download manually in your browser. It sometimes gives the error "Your ip xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx. is already downloading a file".

It takes 15-20 minutes for Mu's dodgy server, to release your ip as one which is downloading. A quick way around the wait, is just to disable links as soon as they freeze (It's usually within the first 10mb in my experience), don't allow JD to give you a "connection lost" error. Then try a different link, it may work fine and download as normal even though you've got "download limit" exceeded message on (half-downloaded) links above. I'm not sure if this a bug or an exploit. I downloaded some serious date from Mu today 2.6 gb in 26 parts in 1 free account session.

It's certainly doing something strange Megaupload's end

Intr0, I got premium acc and I also get this problem. The file I mentioned above is 900mb big and I got the "Connection lost"/"Network problems" several times. The strange thing is: using JD and/or Firefox, I get a corrupted file, but using MegaManager, I'd loose a lot of data downloaded (for instance, I had DLed 700mb, then I'd get that error and MM would resume from 550mb) but it'd retry and keep downloading. Then, at a point, I had lost hundreds of MB, and was back at early 500mb and MM showed DL completed. I tested the file and it wasn't corrupt. I don't know what MegaManager does, but it finishes the download before showing 100% and the file is good. By any other means, the file ends corrupted.

but after i'm tinkering with JDownloader the "Connection lost" and JDownloader freeze does not occur again... for now... (i'm keeping a watch for 6 file worth of 1 Gb)

i don't know if this will work for you, but here's my setting

Max con : 20
Max dls : 1
Maximum of simultaneous downloads per host : 1
Read timeout : 120,000
Connect timeout : 120,000

about the connection lost. its the megaupload server issue we are talking about

So irritating, I have 44 parts of a 45 part Rar. I have been stuck at 69.34Mb/100 for over a day. I keep trying to resume and was getting it in 5Mb or 10Mb chunks but now it just says it's downloading at perhaps 100Kb/s but drop rapidly to zero and times out without increasing the amount of file downloaded.

I've also tried the same download in Firefox (pausing the download each time it freezes and waiting 15 minutes before resuming). But I managed to get to 79Mb before it just lost the connection completely.

Megamanager is completely useless it can get 5.1Mb over and over but then stops. It doesn't seem able to resume from that point either.

In short it's definitely Mu's end and there not much the guys here at JD can do about it

Edit, I finally got the last one and it all unzipped ok, no errors (Yay!), but I'll be avoiding MU links with no mirrors for a while after this experience.

I'm sorry if this question is a really bad one or is asked a lot, but when my download from MU says i have a limited reached(2) of 10 mins does that mean i have to do something involving my router for the reconnect?

If the limit depends on the IP address, then you might be able to solve that problem with a reconnect. If MU has reached a server limit, then all you can do is wait.

Just try with another IP address.

Hi I really need help guys, my internet isn't the fastest anyway so it takes a long time to download even a single part of a file, I bought a megaupload premium account to get faster speeds and for resume support but whenever my downloads stop I am unable to start again from the same point and have to start again :(

I have got 700mb of a 1gb file and it just stopped with the message "Unexpected range header format:null" and this has happened many times now. Please don't ask to reset since I think resume should work on premium, I don't want to start download again. Help please!

unexpected range header = some software intercepts and changes the http traffic.
set max connections to 1 and make sure you setup firewall/av correct.
