when i add links into JD and it tries to check the online status i find it has only copied part of the link when the link is either online or taken down

EG.

**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**

and when copied into JD it becomes

**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**

jd looks for ID within the url, when linkcheck isn't possible we can not get the filesize or filename. The ID is shown in the linkgrabber when links are offline or uncheckable. This is neither a bug of a fault.

works fine here
do you have the latest jd version?
it is normal that the links get truncated as fileserve only needs the fileID
