Default "download_error_message_outofmemory"

Hi,

I am constantly having problems with the message "Não tem espaço suficiente para o download" in PT-BR.
I do not know about the other servers, because I use them sporadically and never gave this error, but with openload.co, which is what I use a lot, this error always happens.

I do not know if it is a problem in openload.co or a Jdownloader bug.

I end up leaving the computer on downloading at dawn and when I wake up in the morning and I'll see if it's already finished downloading, it's stopped with this error message. With this I have to click "Continue" for this error message to disappear and then give "Play" to return the downloads.

Could anyone explain? Well it's not lack of space in the HD, I have enough free space.

OS: Linux Mint 18.1 Cinnamon 64-bit
JDownloader 2

Set max downloads to 1-4 and max connections to 1
I guess you've set to much higher value?
Can you provide a screenshot of the about dialog of JDownloader?
This message means that JDownloader is out of memory to start a new Download

I always use 3 "simultaneous downloads" and 20 "chunks per download" and had never had that problem. I'm not sure when it started, but it's already over 1 month.

I use other servers as well (Mega, Uptobox, 1fichier) and have never noticed this problem with them. But I can not say, because I use Openload almost 100% of the time.

If you need your computer configuration, just ask.

20 chunks are too many. 3*20 = 60 connections. but if it works for you, I don't care
normally this message appears when java runs out of memory but your screenshot is okay so please provide a logfile when this happens again

Just to be clear, I'm just explaining how I use the program. I'm not criticizing or anything like that. I'm using Google Translate, so I do not know how it sounds to you the translation.

I've been using JDownloader since 2008, if you're not mistaken, I do not remember when I started using version 2 (what date was it released?)

This is the first time this specific error has occurred since I use version 2 of JDownloader.

This morning I downloaded about 25 GB and, as you suggested, I decreased to 10 "Chunks per download" and when looking at the computer later, there was no problem.

I will continue monitoring and if the error happens again, I will report and attach the log.

Thank you for your support.

Check about dialog JDownloader when this happens again and make a screenshot.
How many links do you have in list?
Some plugins require more memory than others, more links = higher memory usage and more concurrent connections = more memory usage...so in the end it might just be case that the available memory isn't enough to work with. That's why I ask you to create a screenshot when it happens again

The last time the error occurred, it had 17 links from a compressed file and 5 links from another, and 10 more links from another compressed file, that is, 27 links in total.
Each part was 1 GB in size.

Thank you for the support and tips.

You're welcome. Just report back when it happens again
