NordVPN Proxies should work fine again with latest update.
You can also use https proxy with port 443, that should work fine! In doubt, please send logins/proxy to jiaz@jdownloader.org then I can check during holidays

Oh wow great, nice present! Thank you!

For next year I wish for an updated bundled 64-bit JRE cause with the current one the CPU load is really high for those TLS connections.

@vbs
In case you are already using 64bit launcher, then you can simply update the jre/java folder with newer JRE or backup/copy the complete cfg folder, and remove/uninstall JDownloader and install again with newer JRE bundled installer, https://jdownloader.org/jdownloader2
those new installer also come with newer launcher that support newer JRE versions, eg you can remove/rename the jre/java folder to make launcher use system installed JRE
Copy back/restore the complete cfg folder (not merge but replace) to restore your old settings/lists...

Thats really awesome. I did as you proposed (I wasn't aware about existance of a compatible launcher) and it's perfect now! GCM work out of the box with efficient CPU load! Thank you!!

Sorry for late replay. I cannot find how to enable email notifications.

Yeah I downloaded new installer with x64 Java 11 and also updated the jre-directory after installation exactly as you proposed.

A bit confiusing was that the installer is only offered on the englisch download page:
https://jdownloader.org/jdownloader2

The german site only offers the Java 8 installer:
https://jdownloader.org/de/download/index?s=lng_de

Thanks!

@vbs: Thanks for the followup
normal /download website (adware bundle) currently does only provide the 32bit only java 1.8 version
while the
/jdownloader2 website (adware free) offers 32/64 bit in java 1.8 and java 11
we will soon provide updated installers on /download as well
