What means RDP and what am I doing wrong? I download from my dedicated server at 100 mbits or more, and later I get it from that server to my home, so could anyone tell me why are they stealing my money?
Because three weeks since my last payment and I have been three weeks without service and counting.

Okay i just got a message on jdownloader saying my account has been blocked and I should contact some Ricky guy and I cant download through my browser either...

Is my account banned or something and where is this Ricky guy?

Tyler, I donwload from my server so the files are not deleted when I want to download them.

I dont download directly from my home, because my connection sucks (Im at Spain) and my hard drive is always full.

But anyway if they are not allowing dedicated servers, they should tell that as all-debryd does. It doesnt matter, if I know they are going to block my account for using it in my server I would just go to another file host, but thay dont say anything so they can charge you and then keep the money without giving the service.

Contacted Ricky and he says my IP isnt banned and account isnt banned but I still cannot download. He told me to use FS's download manager which i hate.

Anyways is there a way where I could get a refund from FS?

If you can't download with your browser then there's nothing jD can do about your situation. Please ask FSe, your bank or a lawyer how you can get your money back.

FSe/Ricky is taking advantage of the lack of knowledge of its customers in order to steal their money. The only step you can take is to spread the news, because the longer this situation continues the more innocent people will be ripped off.

I am new here and have just been advised by Fileserve that my account has been disabled due to violations. I do not have any idea why. I only have a few files stored there, and primarily only use the site for premium downloading.

I have sent an email to them requesting information about what I have allegedly done wrong, but as yet have not received any reply.

It's clear. You're just a downloader paying for a download service. Ricky is violating you. Robbing customers is his business model.

amf00769 go as far away from fileserve as possible, since last month they are blocking accounts for "supposed violiations" of their policies.

As remi say, they are robbing their customers.
The real problem I can think about is that they are having problems to keep their service (too much bandwith consumption and payments to uploaders), and they are blocking paying customers to keep going on. You pay for no service at all, and anyway for 9,99 euros who cares (I suppose they would think that).

I had the same problem, contacted RickyFS and fixed.

The problem isn't that we have been downloading too much. The problem is that fileserve doesn't like Jdownloader (obviously we all use it). The pm that I got from RickyFS stated "use any downloader manager but Jdownloader:.

Does anybody know why they are against Jdownloader?

I recommend to :-

1) Allow java and javaw in your firewall and virus software. Disable (or un-install) the html/web scanner in your virus software.

2) Reduce the Max.Con. setting (bottom right corner of jD window) to 1. Reset the affected files.

tried that...does not work.

since the problem with fileserve is known, i have no chance to download something from Fserve. Fsonic seems to work...even if it is slow. crappy fileserve...bought my account end of october...haven't downloaded one single GB ...so silly. Thinking about to get my money back

I dont know why, only thing i do, i had my hidemyass proxy enabled because i used it to visit a site that was not available in my country.

I got notice to contact some user on fileserve forum - the message was displayed inside jdownloader

send them email, no reply whatsoever

it works now, i dont know what happend, i got a notice in jdownloader to contact a special user in fileserve forum because my account was banned.

I send them email, no replies, but next day it worked again.

I have a problem with Fileserve. I had a premium account and today it says to me:

Unsuccessful login
Your account has been disabled due to violations of our Terms and Conditions.

What is this suposed to mean? I payed for this account, why exactly I can't access it? I didn't violate anything... what should i do?

1.Did you share your account with friends?
2.Did you log into your account with multiple IPs?
3.How about asking their support do unblock it.
The worst reason for banning your account could be JDownloader because fileserve doesn't really like us.
Please check that and ask their support!

Yep, i used it with jdownloader. Well, my father travels a lot and when he finds a free wifi-spot he connects also with the same account. Is this maybe the problem?

But then, why megaupload or filesonic don't block my account too? I have premium on this for years now... and my account was never blocked...

Different Wifi spots = different IPs = the hoster thinks you do accountsharing and accountsharing is forbidden so it can block you

Well mine came back up again....was using it in two locations, and one worked, and one didn't. Several emails. Nothing. 2 Weeks later, tried it, and its now working at the other location. For how long though?
