Default JD will not start after crash

Simply put: Jdownloader refuses to initiate after machine crash.

The sequence of events:

1. Updated java to recent version
2. Links gone
3. Uninstalled the latest java and installed "update 21"
4. Links are back! JD seems to be working fine.
5. Adding more links
6. Machine crashes
7. Upon restart, when trying to lauch JD... nothing happens!

Any clues?
What logs/info do you need?

open jd with java 1.6 _21
create a dlc of all your non started donwloads, finish downloads that are half downloaded without adding more links. (DLC you need to use stable, nightly has broken dlc creation).
close jd
copy the config/ folder to another directory config.old/
update java to 1.6 LATEST
run jdupdate.jar
import your dlc of backed up links
go forth

say you have corrupted database.

Yes, I think I have a corrupted database. Is there a way to revert to a previous backup of the database?

When I run "windows_createlog.bat" I get:
Code:

What size is the db file? The file shouldn't be astronomical in size.

to start jd with more memory you need to start JD with different command line switch, (windows) you can make a new shortcut of jdownloader.jar and add this at the end of the target java -jar jdownloader.jar -Xmx1024m
default reserve size is 512m

IMHO, it's a matter of corrupt database.

It had well under 10.000 links (about 7000?) and it was working very nicely AFTER update 21, but before the crash.
I'm guessing the database is corrupt.

Can I revert to previous database? (The last known working db)

sure if you made them they will be located in jdownloader/backup/*.zip exact to jdownloader/config/

sort by date and use the youngest file

if the previous backsup where with _21 you should revert java again otherwise java update in _26 could and most likely would corrupt your restored download list.

And we're back!

It was just a matter of corrupt database.

Thanks for the help!
