Default Newbie Question...

Hey,

I know you must get this message all the time. I used the search function and found a topics but it still didn't make sense to me. My question is I'm trying to download about 40 .rar files from filesonic using JD but after every download it has to wait 5-10 minutes to get a new ip or something and then I have to enter in a captcha for every file. I am using the latest version of JD on a macbook pro and the anti captcha in settings is unchecked so it should would....

I was wondering if you guys could help me out in simple terms...

Sorry for the hassle!

Thanks,

SG

very noobie indeed.

sites that use Recaptcha (hotfile, fileserve, filesonic, etc) are not automatically solved by JD! Recommended work around methods are: (a) use alternative hoster (without recaptcha) (b) buy premium services from that host provider. Alternatively their are 3rd party plugins/addons (We do NOT provide support for them ourselves).
(c) FREE: AntiRecaptcha http: //bit.ly/mtPx3w has very low success rate ~17%, beaware some hosters ban your IP after multiple unsuccessful attempts (Win32). (d) FREE & PAY: CaptchaTrader http: //bit.ly/kj2Dbz is an excellent service with outstanding sucuess rate 98-100% (WinALL, unix/linux, mac). (e) FREE & PAY: CaptchaBrotherHood http: //bit.ly/iLmAy9 is a CaptchaTrader clone (Win32).
NOTE: ONLY install/use ONE of these solutions at a given time otherwise they will conflict with one another. Solution (c) has no human interaction all, its solved at code level. Solution (d) and (e) are both trading solutions which require you earn credits by solving other peoples captchas (you can also buy credits (d-e)), and they solve for you as long as you have accrued credits.

Wait times you need to configure the reconnection module, assuming that you have dynamic ip address from your isp, which can be reset to bypass wait times.

For reconnection to work you need to have dynamic IP address issued to you by your ISP (if yours is static, you're out of luck). Please setup the reconnection module open 'Settings > Reconnection' choose the best method for your hardware to reset your connection (Four available options (tabs)). Recommended read http://board.jdownloader.org/showthread.php?t=16450 it has walk throughs and videos to aid in your configuration. Also http://support.jdownloader.org/index...1&pcid=0&nav=0

@Shy-Guy

These wait times are normal if you're a free loader. Reconnect, find mirror links, or proxy servers (restart of jD needed) are potential solutions.

For the different captcha solutions, please read the first post of the captcha thread.
