Default Wasted GUI Space in plugin settings

How do I adjust the GUI so there is not so much wasted space?

I tried the font settings and they do increase and decrease but to get a large enough font, much space is wasted. I also tried not using the system scaling setting, forget what that is called and it did not help.

A screenshot would help. Notice the scrollbar at the bottom just to see the buttons on the right, when I just want the wasted space in the middle gone and no horizontal scrolling, without a wider window.

What adjustments can I make to improve this, besides reducing font size?

Also when I click the attachment I added below, it won't load it, just shows the error:

I can't see my own attachments?

I guess this report is similar:

I can't do anything about it except link our internal ticket for you which signals that we know about this problem:
