I indeed don't like the idea of jD focussing on image sites because there are so many other and better tools to download images. I also understood that you don't want to use these more specialised tools. That's your right but don't accuse me of expressing my opinion. I'm using several download tools and jD happens to just be one of them. I use it for the typical file hosts like RS, MU (now defunct), etc.

It's my personal opinion that jD is wasting too much time on features where it can't obtain a competitive advantage. jD's last upgrade was in December 2009. That proves my point.

I don't think that my personal interest is strange and everybody should first defend his or her personal interests, otherwise you get communism as can be observed everywhere in the world. If you're convinced that by defending one's own opinion is a wrong attitude, then that confirms my theory why everything is turning bad on this planet and that we're in a permanent crisis. People gave up their self-interests in favour of some power elites that abuse their power. What else would they do with that power?

Defending one's own self-interests is not hypocrite nor disrespectful for the same reasons I wrote before. You've never explained me clearly what you mean with that nor proven that I own these characteristics. To the contrary. I try to create transparency in all that I think and do. I just tell you what I think. I would be a hypocrite if what I think would be contradictory to what I say. This is typical for power elites but I try not to belong to one of them.

I've respect for myself and that should be a good basis for showing respect for others as I do for you. Only people who don't have respect for themselves have difficulties with showing respect for others. When they get angry they start insulting other people. It's a sign of imaturity.

You're always talking about 'us'. Who are those people? Something I discovered when discussing with people is that they try to look 'bigger' by including the other 7 billion people of the world.
