Default OS X menubar icon

May I ask for a smaller menubar icon, as I'm sure a lot of people noticed that it's a bit large for the menubar, especially compared to other icons up there.

Here's the illustration of what I'm talking about.

I guess only shrinking it would solve the problem, and that's not a big deal for developer(s)

I also guess that asking for a monochromatic icon would be too spoiled, so I'll just leave it mentioned here

Thanks

PS: What do you mean with "monochromatic icon"?

Ah, yes, by monochromatic I ment only two tone icon. Black and transparent part, so that it reflects the colors of our menubar. On that screenshot above all other icons have only black + alpha channel, while JD icon doesn't feature alpha channel and instead has two shades of gray.

Perhaps I'm being a perfectionist, but...when in Rome, do as the Romans do. At least visually

Thanks!

Yeah, in his screenshot, only Little Snitch and some application that watches speed are in color, and that's because they are presenting information.

He's basically asking for a black and white icon. I agree, it would fit more with the visual style of the menu bar.

Default Example replacement icon

Just rescaled, converted to greyscale and adjusted the levels a bit. In normal app packages you can just substitute the file and the app will load the new icon, but I don't know where the icon resides in this Java app.

Anyone an idea?

I made a second one without the arrow sticking out on the right, since it's virtually impossible to make out at this size..

Just found this : **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**. (in attach file too)
Perfect size!

But the alias doesn't work. So you have to replace it manually in : /Applications/JDownloader.app/Contents/Resources/app/jd/img

Thanks to Rasmus Nielsen.

Enjoy.
