Default JD Disappears

Lately JD seems to occasionally randomly disappear. I'll leave it downloading then come back later to find it's gone. Not shut-down or anything like that just disappeared mid download.

I'll include the start-up log in-case there it's any help.

What is/are hs_err files?

Tried logging but when JD disappears the log was blank. It only showed the new start-up.

Found them thanks. They all seem to say fatal java error.

I've attached the latest. Funny as it never used to do the disappearing act.

Thanks for the quick response.

Yes NOD32 2.7

I just realised this coincided with a change in router. I have since changed to my original router (as it was better) and reinstalled JD.

That said and looking again the java errors go way before that. Do I just need to remove the "80" from the port scanner settings of "80, 8080, 3128"?

Removed the 80 from the port scanner. Kept my fingers crossed but just as I glanced at the screen a red circle, download incomplete I believe, appeared at the end of one of the files I was downloading and a split second later JD disappeared. Unticked the port scanner but it still disappeared on an overnight download.

Updated java to the latest still no effect.

I don't get it as JD used to work with no problems. I only put java on this pc solely to run JD.

There's no set way JD disappears. It may download a file ok. It may download a couple and disappear or it may download half a dozen and disappear.

I'll try something different tonight.

In the end I put JD and java in Imons exclusion list.

It's been working fine now for two days with no crashes/disappears so I guess that's fixed it.
