Default SSL Download

Hi all, I can't find any previous information regarding this so hopefully I'm not duplicating a thread

Basically, I would like to download using HTTPS from a private host that has a self-signed SSL Certificate. Downloading via a browser is fine because I can add the certificate and accept the connection. JDownloader shows the file as offline and refuses to let me download which I assume is because it is rejecting the certificate. Is there any way for me to get around this apart from not using HTTPS and still using the existing self-signed SSL Certificate? I can't find any settings in the program relating to this issue. Hopefully if it is a missing feature it can be added in?

doubtful it's because of the self signed cert. I've never seen it reject for that reason. Our plugins either allow https or don't allow https. If the hoster enforces https it would fail if it tries without https. You need to tell us the hoster + example links so we can test and fix.

To download https links with JD, you generally copy the link into JD with the correct protocol format.

This should work fine in JD2, please try out the pre-beta. In case the file still shows as offline, I need an example link to check/fix it

Also try to add .jdeatme at the end of the link
