When two different files with same file name but different file size are in the same package, the second file is marked as downloaded upon finishing the first file.

That's the point, file does not already exist, because they are *different files* just with the same file name. For example a.rar (which is 10MB) is not the mirror of a.rar (which is 9MB), and they should be traited as different files. But they are traited as mirrors if they are in the same package, which is obviously wrong.

Seeing the bugtracker: It overwrites the second one not only if the first one is bigger, but also the problem occurs in the reverse condition. It's not the case that first is bigger second is smaller, or first is smaller second is bigger. In both conditions the files should not be handled as mirrors in a package, because they are already different files.
