Lightbulb JD2: Suggestions about FFMPEG/RULES SYSTEM/EXPORT SETTINGS

These suggestions are about JD2.

1:
I think that JD should look into the default system application programs before asking for FFMPEG location, so stop asking and be intelligent taking a first look into "C:\Windows\System32\FFMPEG.exe" and "C:\Windows\Syswow64\FFMPEG.exe" as default locations, if file does not exist there then now ask for a location.

2:
I wonder if these rules could be added to the rule mechanism of JD2:

· Compressed file | contains filename (with an optional usage of * wildcards *)

· File | Name length (less, greater, or equal than...)

3:
An "Export settings" mechanism.

Really JD needs to implement an option to let the user to export their settings to import them in other installation of JD, such as Premium Accounts usernames/passes, password list (of file extractor), normal and advanced options (check/unchecked and custom parameter values), Captcha solvers API Keys and other miscellaneous things.

I'm really interested in my thrid suggestion because I always need to do the manual job to correctly set all the options that I want.

That's all,
Thankyou for read.

@pspzockerscene

Thankyou so much for considerate my suggestions!, I think that the third suggestion really would be a great improvement.

I mean the Rules of the packager, this icon:
(Sorry for the language of the pics, just now I'm downloading an important file and can't reset JD to change language to English)

I would like to see a new option here to manage the length of the filename:

(The checked option in English is "Name of file")

EDIT: hmmm maybe I think that would be better to add a new checkbox named "Length of name"?

Then if Length of filename is less or grater or equals to "X"...

The other part that I've tried to say is extend the rule functionality by adding a new option to check filenames inside a compressed file (zip/rar)

For example adding a new checkbox named "Compressed file" and a combobox with the typical options to establish filename rules, but the filenames should be checked inside the compressed file, Listing/parsing the filenames inside the zip/rar.

I've explained the suggestion correctly this time?

Sorry for my bad English,
thanks for read.

Ticket:

About filenames inside archives:
Hm well that's different because:
1. You can have 1 or multiple files.
2. These are conditions which can only be done AFTER the download - this is just where the functionality of the packagizer ends at the moment...

Nice observation about the filename length, but only programmers knows about (and how to use) regular expressions, I'm not criticizing the rejected final decision 'cause for me is solved using RegEx, I'm only suggesting that maybe would be better for common users to have a more friendly option.

thanks for inform about the progress.

No sorry, that's really no argument.
Everyone can learn regular expressions and the basics are easy.
Only advanced users like maybe you will ever want to check the length of the filename so they'll cope with this and find out how it works
