Default max sim downloads vs max chunks

Could somone please explain the difference to me in "english." I have been having a lot of prbs with my router disconnecting. Never thought it possible for jdownloader to do that but only happens when downloading. Please enlighten me to the difference between max sim downloads and chunks. I noticed that if I download one movie with five links the router is ok. If I try to download a few movies.....crash.

Thanks

Max simultaneous downloads = how many files are being downloaded in the same time.
Max chunks = number of parts each file is devided
Example:
Max simultaneous downloads = 5
Max chunks = 4
JD will try to download 5 files (links) at the same time, each files is devided into 4 chunks (parts).
Total number of simultaneous connections extablished by JD is 5x4 = 20

So, if your router crashes because of too many connections - try to decrease these numbers.

max siml dl * max chuks = total download connections
if you are a free user you might not be able to leverage chunks as most hosters with premium services limit chunks unless you have premium account.
