Default Updates show up repeatedly. Bug or actually tons of updates?

Hi, I'm running jd2 on a headless system, until 2-3 months ago all works like a charm but now I've a little issue, on web interface I always a trigger & update requests, even if I update the jd2, on login jd2 ask me to do the trigger & update.

Any Idea?

Tnx, Jo

So yeah, since about an hour JD2 keeps spamming me with updates.
As theres not really a up-to-date changelog that I can find on here.
I dont know what this is about.
Any clues?

Please post a log.

EDIT

As far as I can see, 5 core updates have been released between 11:28 and 12:30.
There were no big changes though.

Any way to get the logs without directly uploading it to jd servers?
E.g giving me a chance to review them before posting them.

Nvm the above, forgot to check the jd folder...

So I found self_4882_to_4883.log and self_4883_to_4885.log in \logs\updatehistory
both say "EMPTY"
which doesnt sound like its supposed to be like that.

PS: just out of curiosity, what does the log-uploader upload?

The log upload uploads all logs in the chosen timeframe which are located in your logs folder.
You ll then get an ID which only official JD supporters can open (and of course, only when you send them the ID) to view your logs.

I asked, because the logs contain sensitive information (Passwords, specific downloads etc.)

@Singularity
Logs will contain sensitive information, but it's no more information than what we can already derive from having our software installed / running on your computer.

@Singularity
We requested them? you would be giving them willingly. But my point is...

Most software reports home in some fashion, I was just letting you know that logs contain no more information than what we can already derive from having software installed (this goes for any software). If you trust a given software company/publisher and have there software installed on your computer, you should also trust us with your provided logs, else you shouldn't be using our software. If you request assistance, and we request your logs in order to determine issue at hand, you should provide them, else we can't help you going forward.

Ok, I only have a headless jd2 running on my nas, so what log do you need? I can simply take the full log folder, compress it and send?

Btw, the problem seems to be resolved now. I just updated the jd2, and no additional update on reconnection

Edit, never mind, update is still requested! :D

Tons of updates JDownloader just shows that an update is waiting. No need to install if you don't have issues.
As JDownloader 2 is still in beta and under heavy development we push several updates a day. JDownloader only downloads them in background and installs on next startup, so nothing to worry about. Plugin updates are updated in background without a restart needed.

Isn't better include an auto update and restart function? My headless system is always on, I rarely access to the web interface, only to check the update and in case of error

headless mode is still a proof of concept. many aspects missing and for headless, yes, autorestart makes more sense
