Hello,
I want to download some videos and want to have mp3. I read, that JD2 does not download and convert directly to mp3. No problem so I would like to download mp4 and convert it with any video converter. But JD2 tells me "FFmpeg fehlt!" - "Um Audio und Video-Streams zusammenzufügen, wird die Drittanbieter-Software FFmpeg benötigt..." So I clicked, "FFmpeg jetzt installieren", and JD2 tells me that I'm already using the latest Version (I think from JD2), Text: "Du nutzt bereits die aktuellste Version." So I read in an other post, that automatically install would not work, ok. So I downloaded Windows Build from FFmpeg und saved it to C:\ffmpeg and added my PATH User/System Variable with folder "C:\ffmpeg\bin", but JD2 tells me, I haven't installed it. :( ? Sorry but to me it's not quite clear what "Profile Settings" is, and where it shoould be located.
Ah found it in Jdownloader settings interface under "Advanced settings", thanks Last edited by squadjot; 15.12.2020 at 21:04. |

@squadjot: Settings->Advanced Settings->search for ffprobe and ffmpeg
You can set binary path via rightclick context menu but normally you should not have to deal with this. What is the problem? What OS are you using?
