How can i download age restricted videos from YouTube?

It says "Sign in to confirm age" and I tried to but it says something about premium account, i don't understand.

At the moment the account login is unstable/broken :(
Once the account login works again, you just have to add your google account in Settings-Accounts.

That script updates from time to time. So, I guess you should add an update mechanism so that JD2 gets that update as well.

The script does no magic than just uses the embed version of the video.
I just need to check why this fails/is missing in JD.

I'm sorry but I can't reproduce an error. Can you please provide example links. Maybe there are different types of restrictions.

Yes, JD2 downloads that video without any problem. Now that I think about it, I should've tried it before even suggesting anything *feels like I'm an idiot*. Not sure why the other guy posted this issue but I think you can close this issue (working fine with me at least).

It seems like only the videos that are age restricted by uploader's choice can not be downloaded. Examples:

Age restriction set by uploader: **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**
Age restriction probably set by Youtube (Community standards): **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**

The first one displays an error in link collector: "Error - [YoutubeID] Sign in to confirm your age"
The second one works without problems.

@winterschwert: yes, there are difference and the workaround in use seems to only work for 2nd(community standards). We'll see for how long.

You may have misunderstood something here or we displayed a misleading errormessage:

YT age restricted/private videos cannot be downloaded because our Google/YouTube login process is broken.
It is broken for ALL Google/YT account types, including premium!

A bugfix for said Google Login is currently not in sight!

This URL works perfect but I can't see a link for the script itself because I am not a staff member. Can someone help me?

It would really mean to me because JDownloader won't let me sign into YouTube account most likely due to some patch YouTube made.
